Yes it was Wibz, really fucking awful. There's so much more detail I could tell you but unless you're in my position, as a prostate cancer patient and all the repurcussions for your life that can have, you wouldn't totally understand what he's put me through. Basically I avoided major life changing surgery (though I didn't get off scot-free) and now he's dealt me a mental blow of putting me back into that scary position. I did not have a good nights sleep last night.

As for formal complaint...if I had any faith in that system I would. He really deserves it. I'm probably not the only one he speaks to like that after all. But I have no faith. And all I want is proper treatment. UCHL were very good at this, at least pre-HIFU. They, as a teaching hospital, have better standards and are exemplary in the way they talk to patients. Plus they have a clue about HIFU, something which is obviously beyond his scope (and he can't pick up a phone or read The Lancet by the looks of things either). So I wrote to UCH this morning. They replied within the hour. I'll be getting an appt through the post in a few days.

PS Thats a very strange thing to do, go through all your own posts deleting the ones where you call homosexuality a mental illness. Then challenge me to find one, which I do in 5 seconds because you can't even delete your ignorance properly.

If I have (and I really don't care in this case if I have) then I think it's quite understandable to get two similar characters, with identical initials mixed up who both have a proclivity to dribble down their chin and spunk on their computer monitors while getting joy out of abusing someone for having cancer.

I'm sure you're nice to your grandmother though.
 
Hey SHM, This is the first time I'm reading the troubles your going through so my sympathies - I spotted a thread you made a while ago and I thought it was a joking thread so I didn't take any notice.

It does sound like the doctor you saw last was taking the piss and I would follow up on this.

Are you receiving any treatment at the moment?
 
Cheers for the support peeps but its open season on cancer and I don't need it right now. Yesterday was the heaviest day of my life since I got diagnosed and I made a real mistake venting in this thread just so the halfwits could come and play kickball with my head.

My mistake.

It's good you have a vent SHM, yeah you know that it will be amusing to the usual fuckwits but for the rest of the people that use these threads and have some compassion towards each other its good to get it off your chest/share.

It's a scary thing to hear and regardless how much knowledge you have on the subject there is always the unknown.

SHM some people are just trolls n wanting attention just ignore them n they'll go away. Some people have a warped sense of amusement. Best to just ignore them as arguing with them just feeds them.
