Recovery The 2023 Recovery Thread

been up a couple hours, fell back asleep for 20-30 minutes drooling and with my phone in my hand. it’s funny because i’ve found myself doing that a lot during my detoxes. the feeling when your body just gives out for not sleeping for 2-3 days properly. feeling way well rested. dosing my gabapentin now with my coffee, listening to music.

Stay good bro. The sleep comes back soon enough. For myself personally, I started getting back to my normal sleep routines after about 14 days. By 21 days I was sleeping my full 6-8 hours a night like a baby again.
You’re almost there! Just keep keeping’ on

I have been keeping up with your recovery and it is inspiring. Keep it up. You are helping us. I’m rooting for you and It’s almost my turn to start a new chapter.

that is so inherently, intrinsically, & innately kind of you. thank you so much, anthony. i screenshot that to look back on, as that was possibly one of the kindest things i’ve heard in awhile.


update: i napped again for 20 minutes since i upped my gabapentin dose and was feeling sorta w0nky lmao just woke up and took some tyrosine & having some orange juice.
 
just reupped on my kratom. bought more than a tiny ounce this time. probably got enough to last me 2 months lmao. some maeng da from the local vape shop, i can’t be fucked to order any since i am far too impatient but might now since i got enough on me idk.

did 4 loads of clothes today, got all my winter fits segregated in my closet. did a load of dishes, smoked a lot of fags, drank a lot of coffee. feeling sorta normal honestly. appreciative for the sun shining today, the few friends & you guys checking in on me. about to brew some more coffee & listen to some tunes. maybe an epsom salt bath hehe. been talking to this girl, who knows why i’m going through but i’m gunna give it another week and a half or 2 before we go out somewhere so i can stabilize a little more y’know?

I hate this I slept in, doubled up on my meds and passed out for 5+ hours. I never learn.
Evertime, Evertime, same thing I pass out.
What a waste, hopefully I will learn self control. At least my tolerance is not gone up too much. I hope that bottle of ensure doesn't mess with the extra pills I took, I feel lousy and my heart hurts. The clonidine I hope will help my heart pains and the oxy, will make me feel good enough to eat some solid food.

id still take it those first 3 days if you can stomaach it bruv! it does still lessen the blow a little. 9 days is a good window i’d try to make the hump man. i think you can safely possibly go to work if you have enough decent kratom to last you & to take. day 6+ you’ll be feeling way better after dosing.
 
nearing 9 days clean ladies & gentlemen! woke up and had a bubble bath, made some coffee, & have been playing guitar / watching the sun come up whilst listening to some george michael. stunning combo innit. dosed my kratom as well. got maybe 2 & 1/2 hours of sleep last night but we move, as i’ll probably nap later today at some point :)

enjoying the sunrise & the little things today. 💖
 
going thrifting today again with my mum, get out of the house for a bit and go into town, considering i’m stuck in the countryside mostly. so i’m excited for that 💖
