I know every one reacts differently to benzodiazepines and has a different favorite (hence all the what is the best benzo threads), I find it interesting that after you built a tolerance to temazepam you were put on nitrazepam. Nitrazepam isn't used in the US, but when I took it in 10mg doses, I never really liked it very much because I felt it took awhile for the onset of action and it always had a hangover effect leaving me drowsy. Temazepam in 30mg doses was much more recreational and a better sleeping pill in general for me. Also I find it interesting how z-drugs, specifically zolpidem is most likely the most addictive drug I have ever been prescribed (this includes benzos, amphetamines, and opiates) due to it giving me a total disinhibition euphoria. Most doctors would rather rx drugs like Ambien because they believe benzos like Xanax, which I know take and have no problems with, are too addictive.
