Tell us about the last film you watched, mate!

Really enjoyed this, enjoyed it more after reading on the Directors commentary about the meaning behind the Protagonist and Symbolism; in relation to Iberian Culture and History(ya im boring like that). Great show.

Do short films count? I watched a really strange Irish film called 'Six Shooter' by Martin McDonagh, well worth a watch. It's on YouTube in three parts.
Sure they do!:) 'Six Shooter's' pretty intriguing alright, Brendan Gleeson always has a great 'presence' in most films I've seen though IMO.

A Film about Ian Dury.
Andy Serkis was pretty fantastic in this I thought. Really Good show.8.8/10

Great film. I love the animation style in a few of the scenes as well.

It was well done, had that right balance of 'Arty' and 'Earthy' just like Ian Dury had. Loadsa heart in it too, definitely one to put in my DVD Library.

LOVED IT!!
Loved it loved it loved it.

I am going to FORCE my horrormovie-phobic boyfriend to watch it cos it's awesome.

Although I watched on TV and I am thinking that it was censored in some way....because it wasn't nearly as gory as I thought it would be.
Which made me sad.

It's more of a comedy than horror IMO, and yeah there's a fair amount of cursing and some gore. I'm not a big fan of Jessie Eisenberg but this movie was great all around.

^Are you trying to say it's not good then, what with Kevin Costner and losing his daughter n' all? lol ;)

apt. pupil - ( i dont know how to post up pictures or else i would of done it- im a new-b to bl, and even more of a new-b to the computer.) anyway, its a great movie.

^^ If you go to Google and search the movie's name, then go to "Images" up the top of the google search page, and choose one of the images it comes up with, click on the image so it brings it up on its own. Once you've got that, highlight the image's address in the address bar up the top, then copy and paste that image's link address in to your post in here.
BUT for the image to show up the way it does in other people's posts, you need to type out:
so the actual picture will come up, otherwise it'll just show up like http://www.imagelinktext.com/blahdyblah

Give it a go and let me know if you need further help :)

Oh yeah for sure! But I was expecting more gore nonetheless :)

He seems like the kind of actor who would only be able to play the same bumbling nerdy character? I haven't seen him in anything else but that's the impression I got ;)

My girl and I watched the new harry potter movie the other day. It is excellent.

I had not seen any of the harry potter movies, and over the last couple weeks my girl made me watch them all. She has good taste.

For the first time, I just watched:

There really aren't words for how absurd and terrible this movie was. I can only say that I now feel compelled to read the book.

Inception. Twice.

I thought I got the general idea the first time, but I watched it again and there's so much more you wouldn't even notice on first viewing. I liked it a lot. Great ensemble cast too, with the exception of Michael Caine who I simply cannot tolerate.

An hour & a half of the dullest movie I have seen in ages followed by 20 minutes of torture & dream sequences.

Boring, boring, boring.

Just watched Total Recall for the first time.

Total Recall is awesome, it's also part of an unofficial Verhoeven trilogy - along with RoboCop & Starship Troopers. Many dismiss them, but they're great pieces of satirical cinema.
