Te scene isnt dead!

Agreed, but the rave scene is different everywhere, you know? I've never been to a rave where the music was like the music in the link you provided.

Yeah maybe I was to quick to link the dressing up thing to this kind of music. I thought that was the context 'rave' was being used here as thats the way its used alot on youtube and the likes. Anyway I'm going to bow out of this argument now as iv seen your a UR fan so im presuming you have nothing to do with the kind of music in the link.

i think its died musically and stylistically for the most part, but the fun and drugs are still there. i think all scenes have always been about people just gettting together. as a musician i cant imagine respecting the music at an underground rave, or any kind of massive music thing, because the best music is listened to in calm circumstances. (i.e. you can hear the sounds properly and you're not full of garbage)

dance music is best when heard loud so unless you have a 50k watt sound system at home....;)

Yuuup, its time has come and gone. There are still fun parties to go to though. That is all I really care about.

Well shiieeet,
Look at this gem, all of the crybabies said its dead!
I guess that since 2011 there has been more massives all over the country then ever since the start of the 'rave' in the states means nothing....
I wonder how did I predict all of this uprising in the 'EDM' scene (btw I hate the term EDM also, but I gotta use it since the youngsters know it as such)
Anyways I didnt resurrect this just to stroke my ego but just as a reminder that at the time I knew it was popping and most of you all just have laughed at me.
