dad forgot to bring milk home which means black coffee's for the night. i'm not about to go drug driving and dad has fallen asleep already!

he also remembered to get himself some dinner but, as half expected, didn't get myself anything at all. instead i've got left over salad and meat to thaw out if i get hungry enough :| not that happy about the situation at all :|
 
^I always keep canned milk (evaporated) for just such a desperate situation!;) As far as food goes, when there is nothing else, I usually can at least scrounge up a potato. And since the humble potato is actually the food of the gods and goddesses, I am never disappointed. Left over salad, though, that is harsh!

Epson inkjet help desk was a great place to work in a small team with lots of potential seeing as it was Fujitsu I was actually employed by there as Epson's service provider back then in the UK, really regret fucking it up cos of the H. Big IT desk for a bank was less good, totally impersonal and only really deemed capable of handling the most trivial things on first line support like endless password resets, having to forward most things to dedicated teams but wasted opportunity there again. Agree though chemical engineering a vast improvement, lots more fun so good luck with it!

This week we travelled down South of Australia to check out Melbourne, Victoria.
My friend from Germany has offered for us to stay in her beautiful home for a few days. It is really cool down here.. Lots of parties happening, lots of amazing street art around too. Just my sort of place :)
So yesterday we found two parties..
One street festival, where we joined in with a large drumming circle group, then we found a crazy party by the beach that exploded with people within no time.
Tomorrow we are having a dinner date with a famous musician / lyricist called DubFX. You guys should youtube him!

can't believe you didn't hit me up on your way to Cairns, unless you caught a plane! i could have met you guys anywhere along the highway, like mackay or somewhere closer to where i live for instance, and had lunch and a few brews while at it. maybe even a sleep over and then you could have hidden me in your gear so as to tag along and kick some ass!

I just found out that the school I'm going to next semester has free mindfulness group therapy. I just hope it works with my schedule. I know that group mindfulness really works for me. Soooooo stinkin' excited! =D

We just got back from a nice dinner date with one of our all time favourite musicians and his fiance.
It was so nice of them to take us out, they even picked us up from our door step and paid for our dinner :)
He really digs my art and asked me to come back down to Melbourne to decorate some of his home :)
So lucky to have had this chance. Luck has really been on our side recently <3

This website is so triggering :( who can relate?

One week and no more drug tests. All I can think about is pot & pills. I'm reading some tragic accounts resulting from drug use, too. Still I want it all. I'm just glued to this site reading about drugs and vaguely plotting my return to chemicals. I'm ambivalent so I need to be clear. So confused. I'm still going to NA.

I think for sure I'm going to smoke pot but I need to be resolute to battle everything else. It's so hard when I read about people using drugs and having a functional life. I can be that, too. But the thought seems dreadful at the same time.

I stick to certain areas Cohesion that helps keep the triggering to a minimum. When I first started coming on I was very easily triggered by the slightest comment of someone mentioning anything, seeing a thread title in new posts, etc. I kind of got desensitized to it. I think it's helped me actually confront my cravings and be able to see it without acting on it.

Try keeping your participation to non drug related sections. TDS and SO have strict no drug talk rules, as does The Lounge but that's a section with an acquired taste. Post in social threads. <3
 
Sure Cohesion. Being on here is a double-edged sword. Most useful for the info and help available for those struggling, but engaging with that sort of stuff can certainly get the juices flowing, trigger the cravings cos you're thinking and talking about it all the time. Maybe you could be a little selective with your reading if you're finding it triggering, limit yourself to certain forums and certain kinda of threads?
