Actually I've just reread it Herb and don't know what I was on about? It wasn't your grammar at all, it was my reading skills, or lack of 'em, cos if it was still early on the east coast and were saying the west coasters had been up for hours then that would mean the earth was rotating backwards, a bit like what happened at the end of Superman maybe when he had to fix all the earthquakes to rescue Lois Lane and the sun had somehow come up in the west yesterday morning, which it didn't, obviously. I'd have noticed that I'm sure. So, this morning we have learned that my grasp on time differences is even worse than my grasp on geography. :\

I'm so glad you had a good day Herb. :)

^ don't be boasting about a tan, it's getting grim here in the UK, I was driving through 2 feet on water on some roads on the way into work today!

Captain H, with your lol there I'm not sure you're treating this with the seriousness it deserves. Pissing it down and gale force winds here. The rain's not so much falling as traversing the skies horizontally at ground level. You wouldn't believe this shit. No point even having yer hood up. And it's pigging cold as well. :X

As for you Trip, waltzing in here boasting about all the sun and hotness you've had on your adventures with your bronzed good looks and your swishy-swoo hair, well you can just fuck right off an 'all! :!

Atm, I think these guys can consider themselves well and truly told. Oh yes!

Oh god I know, I literally had to battle my way back home from class yesterday. The rain soaked through my bag and half my notes are now rags :(

But trip hopefully I'll be joining you in your warm and sunny country in a year =D

I deliberately moved to Los Angeles in part to get away from excessive precipitation but especially ice and snow. I understand how hellish it sounds. Ever consider moving?

Yeah I'm in London for another 2 and a half years at least with hopefully a semester in Sydney next year :) and yay! Miht be in Paris at that time but let me know :D

Finally went to my first meeting in a few months today. It felt good obviously. Having an okay day today :D

I'd move in a heartbeat but unfortunately my options there diminish every year. The States wouldn't let me in anyway with my list of Class A drug convictions, not got anything to offer Australia skills shortage wise and think it's getting a bit late to retrain in something enough to meet any demand they might have. Should really take advantage of family over there and go for a long holiday and see what turns up but doubt I'd be able to settle permanently so a big cash investment with little prospects I feel. I'd be more than happy in the south of France but again, how do I support myself while I get up to speed with the language. It's a little frustrating cos the UK is going down the tubes, more and more economically and socially fragmented with the duty of care owed to those at the very bottom and struggling replaced with big stick approaches punishing them for being poor. Makes me so bloody angry but seems to have popular support, so effective has been the Tory party's stoking up the politics of envy with their divide and rule approach setting the middle, working and underclasses at each other's throats. Can't even see that the policies they think apply only to the alleged something-for-nothing culture of those beneath them are actually against their best interests too. It's like turkeys voting for Xmas. So stupid!

That's great, start saving !!

Do you still live in London?
We are coming there via Paris and Berlin next June-August. Get ready :)

Oh, you guys will love Paris. Long time since I've been but will get back one of these days. Beautiful city with a great vibe. I spent my five days just wandering the city in awe of the look and feel of the place, it was a real buzz just seeing the sights and soaking up the atmosphere. So much character even in the most unassuming back streets well off the tourist trail, some real gems, and the Left Bank still has that arty, literary, intellectual feel to it even now. Only regret is I didn't have more time and funds were so limted I didn't get to see all I'd have liked. It's an expensive place even for a short break.

But, but, but, you mean you're NOT American? How have I been labouring under that illusion all this time? I really do have to start taking more notice instead of making completely unfounded wild assumptions? I must just make it up as I go along half the bloody time! Hahaha.

Cos I'm an idiot probably Pagey? :? To think all this time I could have been practising my piss poor French getting ready for my visit back. I shall know where to come next time I feel a need to murder the language. Been a long time since A Level, j'ai oublié beaucoup, ma Francais est tres, tres mal de nos jours. Oh, and I know you're UK now. I got that much, I'm not that oblivious. Nearly, but not quite! Pfffft.

You should drill some air holes in a crate and mail yourself into the US. Plenty of Mexicans are living here without their papers. ;)

D'awww. It's okay. <3
Et puis c'est pas trop mal, t'as que deux mots à changer dans ta phrase et elle est correcte! Je suis sûre que tu parles mieux français que la plupart des gens ici qui l'ont fait en A levels y'a quelques mois (Little test, I'll be impressed if you get all that! ;) )
