forced myself asleep rather then going to dentist...
stress sure gets the blood pumping, everywhere -
er dentist, wasnt prepared for screaming kinds
bright light, and phones ringing non-stop.

have to contact my prescriber also, before going in...
 
Todays another great day for me. Hanging with my gf, something to keep me away from cannabis for a bit(my girl doesnt want me smokin)

gonna hit up NA meeting tonight, and TRY to get to sleep early.
 
going camping!
the NA group that I go to is holding their spring camp out!

This is strictly a spiritual/fellowship camp out, so no cell phones or laptops!!

I went camping last night too, although it was a bush doof. Far from a peaceful spiritual retreat =D
Although I actually would've preferred a peaceful retreat because I was completely exhausted and just slept in the tent all night instead of the usual dancing and socialising. I could've just slept at home and been more comfortable hahaha.
Oh well.

worked most of the weekend, absolutely shredded exhausted man. Gotta be up at 6 tom - sat next sunday i have off. Staying busy helps but I am absolutely spent. I need to take really good care of my body these days.

wheee tomorrow i get to put my drummer knowledge to good use and setup + tune up a pretty nice kit for a workmates 6 year old son!

i will not be hiding my children from psy/goa, "classical" or jaZZ... these are mind tuners - haha.
 
Well we have a lot of psytrance here...they are usually indoors though. During the summer they sometimes have some outside at our little mini mountain here, but from the pictures I've seen they looked depressingly small. Should find some people to go with, I almost never do. Good for the soul!
 
There needs to be more free doofs.
Free doof's are way more enjoyable..
So many people own their own sound systems these days and are charging ridiculous entry fees that seem to grow every party..
hippies aren't generally made of money!!!
 
many headline dj's on many levels love a more personal genuine setting.

we lured one of DJ LeStat's/Talamaskas touring partner to a house party, Talamaska couldnt be bothered...haha

but, yeah, many want to feel the genuine feel of a small club, event like that. maybe to say fuck-off to the mega-clubs charging $50+ at the door, and get to the roots.
or if they appreciate the other dj's; they use to struggle also.
 
i get to see shpongle in a pretty small venue in a few weeks. i'm suuuuuper excited about that one =D
 
Cool :) Yeah the smaller events here don't get big DJ's, it's usually local ones. The afterhours get international ones but it's usually house which isn't really my thing. And the vibe at the afterhours isn't the same as some dirty abandoned factory building :) Last year there was a free one with some great D'n'B...this year I only went on NYE and the music wasn't too good.

Alright that's it gotta check out the rave.ca now...
