Correct and you just might see me around more often. Which may or may not be a good thing . . .

Hey, just because it's dark in here, doesn't mean its a sad place. We just keep the lights low here for ambiance.... and because the ugly things that hide under our mental rocks tend to run & hide when exposed to bright light.

Really...... TDS is a good place because even though many of us are still active drug users , the focus is on eventually learning to live healthy lives either free of harmful substances, or while working to be successful in managing necessary drug usage, while treating chronic medical conditions that demand the use of powerful, addictive chems.

Purely curiosity , but what do you consider a harmful substance ?

I consider a substance to be harmful whenever the known risks outweigh the benefits that might be gained from taking them.

Even though a drug like morphine is a *very* harmful substance to the average person under normal circumstances...... for people with severe pain (or are dying), it is still one of the best things we have to help provide relief.

Where a substance becomes harmful, is most often when it's willfully abused. Every drug we take is inherently dangerous.... otherwise they wouldn't do anything at theraputic doses.

I think its a good thing simply because you're a good dude :)

thanks :)

I'm still working on some things, like trying to remain centered and keeping calm. Not allowing my emotions stray too far from the middle allows me to think more rationally. It's a gradual process, for sure.

It is. Everything in life is about practise.

If you need/want to talk specifics, feel free to start your own thread BTW. Or PMs work well. Or even a good Blog post to vent ;)
