Nice pics everyone; good to put some more names to faces (nice fro there mr blonde, we have to catch up sometime! =D)

That old photo of you is really cute panic in paradise! For some reason it screams aspiring young rock star to me?

Keeping in theme with the old photos, here's one my little sister just sent me:

Reminds me that i was happy once upon a time (and asleep of course).... :(

I love this pic! Two best friends sleepin' off a lazy day together! Awesome!

^^ Yep same with me and my boyfriend! We're 6 years apart. It's funny huh. So, for example, whenever we hear an old song on the radio he'll be like "Oh this song reminds me of being in Year 12" and I'll be like "This reminds me of being in Year 6" and then he'll feel old =D
Hahaha that's like me and my EX boyfriend! He's seven years older and will be talking about a song or something from his college years, and I'm like "I was in middle school then." Even my current flame asked me if I had been to Lilith Fair in the late 90s, and I was like ummmm No, I was like thirteen and under sooo yeahhhhhh.... LOL.

I am loving the old pics of pip, ocean, n3o, usernamehere, belarki, etc! you all look exactly the same... you all haven't aged in like 10 years; it's pretty wild!

Strategically blurry curly haired shot from two years ago in an ambulance.

Nope. It's Folly Beach. Do you frequent Charleston?

I went down to Charleston last May. I LOVE that city, it reminds me of Boston in the sense that it retains a lot of its history. Its just a beautiful city. We stayed on Sullivan's Island and thank GOD there was a Red Sox bar there, it was pretty neat we got to see all our games, plus the Bruins games against the Canes (playoffs). But I look forward to my next visit. I would go to Charleston over Myrtle Beach any day of the week.

Oh god, Myrtle Beach is a white trash mecca. It's definitely #2 on the trash list after Destin, FL. I was there last weekend for a friend's birthday and I was perpetually in a bad mood being surrounded by so many 18-20somethings acting like complete idiots. I can only handle so many neon buildings and flashing lights before I throw up as well 8) Alas, it must be appealing to a lot of people if so many folks vacation there. Maybe I just don't "get it."

I haven't really been to Sullivan's that much as it isn't the closest beach to me (I live in West Ashley), plus I have an affinity for Folly Beach as I grew up there during summers and breaks from school in Georgia. I have been going there since I was six and lord, has it changed... It still retains its laid back style. My s.o., a friend of his, and myself are looking at houses on Folly starting on Monday actually. I lived there one summer after graduating high school and it was amazing.

ANYWAY. Enough about Folly. Charleston, now Charleston is the most amazing city I have ever been to or lived in, and I've traveled and lived in soooo many places. I will be sad when I move to Quantico, VA in a year and a half but I will surely make plenty of visits "home" (I consider Charleston my "home" now, not Georgia).

As far as Boston goes, I LOVED it when I visited a few years ago. It really had a lot of personality for a big city (most of them seem to end up being basically the same thing, just in a different place). The art community was so big there as well, which I just loved. I will definitely make another trip there when I live close by in the future.

Bostonians have a TON of civic pride. It's a lot smaller than a lot of people realize (~600k people within city limits), but is one of the most dense cities in the country. Boston is also unique because instead of annexing a lot of the surrounding communities, they remain their own townships (which are also very dense, you would hardly notice when you left Boston and returned). Boston, also known as the Athens of America, has a lot to offer in terms of art, music (both classical and bands), and two of the three largest libraries in the country (one of the libraries at Harvard and the Boston Public Library with the Library of Congress being the largest.), and the the little credited burgeoning restaurant scene. If you're into art, the SoWa section (South Washington) of Boston is filled with independent galleries and weekly crafts fairs. If you're ever headed up this way and need any advice or recommendations feel free to PM me.

P.S.
BOSTON ROCKS!!!! =D

I'm a big fan of the dinosoar museum. :-D

Well, since you're a native New Englander, Boston is your city too. As a New Englander I feel that the 6 states that comprise it are like brothers and sisters, and Boston is the unofficial capital of New England, so anyone from New England can call Boston their own in my book.

I really have enjoyed putting faces to names and I really love this place so I thought I'd reciprocate... They are big so I put them in tags, they are certainly SFW!

oh hai there guy;) nice to see your face on bluelight brother; lack of pupils is always a win in my books too.

I did my first modelling gig this weekend, and am in the mood to picwhore. IIRC some of you wanted to see me with straight hair. Well here you go!

NSFW for picwhoring, and because if I don't automatically see them then I might keep them up for a bit longer.

Me just before leaving my place for show day. My hair has been dyed, but not cut or straightened. I'm also operating on < 6 hours of sleep over two nights at this point.

Just before the first show. My first look of the day was a sort of Rockabilly/tousled somethingorother. Note the freshly applied makeup and my attempt at 'Blue Steel'.

After the first set, one of the other models offered to take my picture. Not really sure why.

Just before the third show. My hair at this point has been cut three times, blown straight twice and then flatironed. I'm still in a cape because the stylist is going to cut my hair on stage.

Final look of the day, after the third show. I'm wearing a different shirt because I managed to sweat through my other one what with the hot lights shining on the matte black cape. Luckily I brought a spare t-shirt.

Oh my god Dave, you are ridiculously handsome!! *swoooon*
I love that last 'do, so awesome :)

Thanks n3o! :)

I like the idea of the first one the most, but the execution of the last one is the best. It's basically the same hair that the stylist had, so he was pretty good at doing it. I on the other hand have no clue how to straighten my hair; although I'm now the proud owner of a flat iron. I'm hoping to figure it out as a 'going out' do.

^^ Ya gotta do it in sections, invest in a few of these babies to make it easier to keep the hair sectioned while you're straightening one particular part:
color-track-clips1.jpg

(you squish together the end bits and the pointy bits open out so you can grasp the hair sections with them, if that makes sense)

Just be careful not to burn your fingers using a straightening iron with short hair!!

Yeah, its pretty obvious which one of those pictures was when I was a regular user and which was before I'd touched an opiate. Its nice to be months removed from all that though.

So when do we get more pics of your fine australian ass? (I'm thinking of that sand picture, you know the one)

Yeah leftwing, when?? ;) <3

Whoa Depone!!!!! That's quite the collection ya got there! Love it! :)
