wow, a pic of me from when i was about 14, right at the front of the storm. this is probably 1 of 3 pictures of me as a teen, i look so much healthier . it really frustrates me, and im regretting it now that i didnt want people taking my pic back then. those were some important years. but i guess there werent digi cams and cell phones, especially cam phones which make it easier (to pic and choose).

i have no idea of the Auto Immune Disorder & Schizoeffective developing, and starting to attack at this point. n/m the psychedelics, E, and needle binge to ensue. i started using IV coke very very shortly after this was taken... months...

Just to clarify though, I fucking single-handedly raised that bird since he was like 5 days old!! It's just that lorikeets can be really possessive of one person, and they can make the choice of who that person will be without rhyme or reason 8)

Birds can be pretty bitchy and cliquey sometimes i've found.. We got a cockatoo and a galah when I was about 12 and they're both still alive and at first, the cockatoo preferred my Mum because she fed it and looked after it, but my dad played with it almost constantly. Now it prefers Dad and attacks Mum, but he still nips my dad and has caused quite a bit of damage to my dads hands and arms, drawing blood regularly.

A funny stupid story, when I was in my teens, if I slept in on a weekend, dad would get the cockatoo (Billy) and he'd throw him in my room and shut the door so the bird would go mental and flap around and screech at me! When you're deep asleep and that shit happens, it sounds like the fucking apocalypse! I got him back a while after that when he climbed into the cage with them to change over their feed and water and I locked him in there and set the hose on him and the birds (who loved being sprayed in summer)

I had a phenomenal childhood, I had great friends, was very active and did all sorts of fun things. Now that I'm depressed, instead of looking back and reveling in all those good moments, I cry.
