Me and my "sun" burn. next to my cream walls for reference. My torso is the worst because it doesn't get much sun. I'm using pure aloe at the moment. My plant needed trimmed to keep the cat out. Its poisonous to cats. But I don't know if the gel would be better or not. I figure its more water anyway. Lotion too. Not peeling or anything yet which is a good sign. But I don't know if you can get that from tanning beds or not. I should look into if I need to protect my tattoo as well. (Oh if I can only find the time to all the things I WANT to do.)Hopefully it will all turn into a nice tan and I will feel better about myself. Not to mention if the ex sees me, he can eat his heart out, but that was honestly an after thought.

Pillthrill, that sucks about your sunburn. I've gotten some really bad ones in my time as well. My father and I used to have this unspoken father/son bonding thing in that on every family vacation to the beach, we'd both get horrible sunburns (there's a REALLY funny story that came out of one of them, but I don't have the time to tell it now).

My brother uses more girl hair products than I do. His hair isn't that long and I have shoulder leangth hair so...it could be worse.

I actually got a new hair cut today. Fresh from the salon. Guess we will have to see how I style it...

I'm due for a haircut....I always just cut my own hair (*grab* & *snip*!! It's long enough to warrant doing that) but with my sister's wedding in a couple of weeks, I should probably get a nice style cut in to it....

Madmike-- Great winter shots! It's my favourite season, and it's a good thing since it's winter here for at least 6 months of the year. Not to mention that you're looking a lot better these days.

I second Fjones! Isn't this world amazing sometimes. We don't have mountains here or ocean here for that matter, only a man made lake. I miss the mountains of Wales so much. That was my only experience with them.

That's a little bit of local art. Every year when spring comes around, a 1/2 mile stretch of that river gets covered in those stone cairns. It's not organized either, people just build them while they're out enjoying the river. I've tried to build them, it's harder than it looks. I guess I just don't have the patience.

:) That is sort of how the Earth Sanctuary was/is- Random people come to mediatate, some just hike, or perform different religious things there......they bring stones in or statues or flags- it is so cool....you will be hiking along in the woods and come across a fallen log covered with moss and someone came before you and left quartz crystals or little Buddhas.....
