Crazy plant breeds are crazy. I've yet to try the purple ones, but green and orange cauliflower are both pretty well the same as the regular sort. Any cruciferous veg is good in my books though.
 
The farm up the road also had Broccoflower:) (picture from last October)
Another crazy plant that tastes pretty yummy....
And I am not sure if the purple actually tastes better or if it was my imagination- It may have been only because I like eating purple cauliflower.........:)


Hopefully this summer/fall I will have pictures of rainbow carrots from my garden........
We grew some (along with dwarf carrots) but only got white-orange and yellow carrots. The red and purple didn't grow......So I am going to give it another try this year.
 
not ours, and ive never seen them in person, the bulbs for sale i have but not the plants. i had read about how they pulled this off and there were plenty of other checkered plant pics but i cant find that page anymore.

it would be pretty cool to have a bunch of those lining our yard and the road.

Damn Australia being in late Summer/early Autumn!
I have to rely on photos I took last winter for this week's round.
Lucky I'd just bought my new camera at the time, so I have a few okay shots =D
 
Yeah you can switch them any time up until the closing of the entries (i.e. Sunday).
But I like the one you posted in the contest better!
Ultimately it's up to you though ;)
 
I think that it's fine to do so up until the entry deadline-- just edit your original post. N3o: what's the official word on that?

Husband says the one that is posted is a more striking winter scene...
So I will stick with that one I guess..... :)
I do love the one above though....
Its a great spot and I have lots of good memories down on that beach......
We lived a miles walk up the beach .....
