Yes, I try do the same. Taking Valium about 9-10pm then force myself to stay awake, at least to midnight.
Then I get the Valium effect along with some of the body's natural sleepiness, the little there is.
Tried the tiger balm but just made me sneeze like hell. Helst with the RLS though, kept me occupied with the nose.
Will try it again with some antihistamine.
Helped out before with the runny nose and sneezing.
Just had a thought about this on and off schedule.
Will this lower my tolerance?
As if now I need at least 10-20mg to keep the pain away, depending on my physical activity level.
Don't know if some of the pain is WD related after all these years, for sure if now though.
But in the long run maybe it would be enough with 5-10mg.
I apparently need them but not thathe much for my "regular" pain.
Just a thought while I'm in bed staring at the roof and running a marathon with my legs ��
