Taking the jump or not? - tram/oxy

I try to never sleep till close to midnight every night my biggest fear is falling asleep at 9pm and then waking at 11pm and being up for rest of the night fuckin hate that! I tell everybody in my house if you see me sleeping before midnight wake me right up lol they say they tried i wont wake up. fucking insomnia! hang in there!

The insomnia is the worst! But after acute withdrawal.., the odd couple hours is a blessing. Keep it up!

Yes, I try do the same. Taking Valium about 9-10pm then force myself to stay awake, at least to midnight.

Then I get the Valium effect along with some of the body's natural sleepiness, the little there is.

Tried the tiger balm but just made me sneeze like hell. Helst with the RLS though, kept me occupied with the nose.

Will try it again with some antihistamine.
Helped out before with the runny nose and sneezing.

Just had a thought about this on and off schedule.
Will this lower my tolerance?
As if now I need at least 10-20mg to keep the pain away, depending on my physical activity level.

Don't know if some of the pain is WD related after all these years, for sure if now though.

But in the long run maybe it would be enough with 5-10mg.
I apparently need them but not thathe much for my "regular" pain.

Just a thought while I'm in bed staring at the roof and running a marathon with my legs ?

It will lower your tolerance, so taking less would be more effective than previously when you had a larger tolerance (if that is what you're asking - I'm unsure).

Honestly it sounds like the condition that requires the analgesics has improved, or you're not putting as much stress on your physical body as you were before when it requires more pain meds. This is a very good sign!

Lifestyle changes, both large and small alike, will have more impact one your ongoing quality of life and pain management than just managing pain meds. It isn't to say pain meds aren't necessary - in many cases they absolutely are - but that there are also many ways of effectively managing and reducing discomfort through means other than opioids/medication.

If there are medications and healthy habits available to your that promote healing (and there undoubtably are), there is zero reason to not take advantage of both avenues of recovery IMHO.
