Taking acid in a car?

This Friday, I might be able to get 2 hits of acid and i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to be in a car for a long time. Like, would I start to have a bad trip if i was in one?
 
well, being in a forced confined space for an extended portion of your trip while going at high rates of speed might indeed be disorienting or uncomfortable. I wouldnt recomend it, but the fact is no one can tell you if you are gonna have a bad trip. sometimes it just happens. but set and setting are good guidelines, and this sounds like a bad setting.

On the other hand, i personally enjoy having someone drive me around while im tripping, so who knows.

ps i hope you werent planning on being the driver, thats a definite no-no

Spending a trip in a car sounds horrible IMO. I unknowingly did this on 2C-B once and didn't really have a good time. Also note that 2C-B is more mild than LSD; if I ever took shrooms in a car I would most certainly but uncomfortable.
 
I have immensely enjoyed riding in a car on LSD. However, it was in a convertible along the coast of California on a beautiful spring day, which I feel I would have had a hard time not enjoying.

But really, if it's for much longer than an hour or so I wouldn't recommend it. You don't want to be so restricted in such a small area for so long. It's good to have options and things to keep you stimulated, and a car ride will definitely get boring after a while.

Yeah that is good advice. I remeber one trip I ate 3 grams of VERY potent cubensis but then my mom would not let me go out 8o....The entire night I spent tripping balls in my bed in a totally dark and silent enviornment and I didn't sleep at all that night. It was a very trying trip.
 
It depends on the situation, and how experienced you are with psychedelics. I've had fun riding with friends to festivals while tripping on LSD, but it does get cramped and icky after a while. The vibe was good though, and I was among fellow trippers. :) I would say its essential to have tons of great tunes, some good bud, and perhaps a smidge of ket.

It's awsome if your driving in a country setting .

But if you gonna be in the city I hate it . To many people , cars . It can get scary
 
I wouldn't recomend driving anywhere on acid. But if you want to ride then try it out, if you get uncomfortable get out and do something. I hate sitting in one place for long periods of time while tripping on anything.
 
I dosed two hits of strong white on white and rode in the car with my family for 17 hours from Missouri to North Carolina without them knowing. It was difficult at first because the acid was much stronger than expected. Once I got over the first hour or so and got adjusted it was probably the best trip I've had on any psychedelic to date. I just acted casual and told myself it'd get better in just a matter of time.
 
if it's a short trip it'll be okay, but if you're talking about being in a car for hours then no, that's not gonna be fun. One time I was on acid and had to be in a car most of the time and all I could think about was that I was wasting my trip and I wanted to get out so I could experience some other shit while before I wasted all of my trip.

Don't get me wrong though, I love to drive around the city when I'm tripping because of all the lights and shit you can see. I just don't like being trapped in a car for long periods of time. More than 30min maybe an hour is probably too much
 
Depends how long your goin to be in the car for IMO

I did this once, went to pick up some Pink Panthers(FTW!) put 2 in my mouth, and it took about an hour n a half to get back, started kicking in after 30 mins by 1 hour i was getting nice visuals, driving through the city lookin at building slowly swaying, was really nice.

Once I got back, and got out of the car I looked at the grass and it has its own outta reality look to it.

If you gonna be in tghere for more then 2 hours I wouldnt do it personally, it can get kinda uncomfortable, but as long as you keep thinking about how fucked up your gettin, you'll forget about it;)
 
I've had a couple trips driving my car, and it was mostly based around the fact that everyone needed me to drive them places. Back then, I just did it, held back my nerves, shut my mouth and dealt with the horrible feeling of being used.

Nowadays I would probably scare the shit out of everyone in the car by speeding and swerving like an asshole. And then pull over out of nowhere at a random unfamiliar spot and force them out of my car. And I can do that, I have an alarm that literally pierces your eardrums. Yeah, that's a complete dick thing to do, but kids should know better than to make it blatantly obvious that they're only friends with someone for their car.

And it would've made me giggle, and then instant good trip =D
 
yea driving while frying is a blast. definitely not for the faint of heart tho =D

i agree that driving in the country is great too. i had an amazing time driving through the mountains, where i lived for a while

i wouldn't really enjoy driving in cities and sitting in traffic, tho i've done it a couple times

just sitting in the car on a road trip sounds lame but it depends on your company, how long you'll be in the car, if you can roam around freely etc.. being trapped in a car wouldn't be too fun, especially if you have zero experience with LSD and don't know what to expect

Ive only driven a few blocks on acid. I have taken some shroom drives though. |It can be awesome yet terrifying at the same time, no troubles with cooordination or focus though...
 
Anyone suggesting to DRIVE whilst tripping needs putting down, seriously thats beyond stupid. But riding in a car is nice and fun although.

3 of us were tripping in a friends car (peugeot 106, so pretty small) , well I say tripping, just starting to feel weird before the mushrooms kick in full force. before you know it we've ditched it. Now dragging a car out a ditch/changing two tyres/ dealing with worried passers by is something I never wanna do tripping again. >_< (and fyi, the driver was just stoned)

but my point is, ever since then in that car whenever he goes above 50 I start shitting bricks...mental scarring :(
