Anyone going this week? 6th May.

I need some advice. I'm taking this girl on Friday who is 17. She has a real ID to use, but someone elses photo (they look similar). Have any of you taken in someone under-aged? I don't think it will be a problem, but any advice is appreciated.
 
^ I'd say it would be ok as long as its a real ID cause I know they have that light thingo at Sublime..

They can always ask her for further ID if they dont believe her, up to her whether she takes the risk and says dont have any on me cause im clubbing or takes some of her friends..

I was thinking of heading to subs soonish maybe in the next few weeks

hmm...is peewee still there?? he and nik fish were regulars there and bexta when i attended subbies while living in sydne three yrs ago :)

may have to venture back there next time im in sydney for a trip down memory lane :D
 
I was there on Friday. Yeah it was a good night, nothing special... but I haven't been to a "regular" subbies night in a very long time. I usually only go when they get big internationals I really want to see.... Tiesto, Ferry, Armin etc... Sorry, but Steve Hill doesn't compare.
 
Ferry is playin on the 10th June, anyone going to that? $40 + BF... I know Steve Hill doesnt compare to Ferry etc, but it breaks it up a bit from just hearing the regulars. Seeing as i go nearly every week a bit of change is good.
 
Should B there, Was at 8th B-day when Ferry was there. Music was ok but I can't say I ended up dancing much... chatted non stop pretty much 3/4 of night! :) Was a good night! Personally music wise I prefer more stuff from his older sets when he still played sick uplifting trance sets. Now he seems more into the tech side of things like with "Punk" and "Rock Your Body"...

Anyway will try be there as should be an awesome night, plus I'm sure a couple of friends will be dying to see his set... plus got a vinyl record that needs a little Ferry marker pen squwigley on it. ;) Heard that Ferry is a friendly dude so maybe can score that one.

I want to go but i dont know if i should... i have to work on sat night and then i am going to Gas after work and then sunday is going to be spent at Luna Park...

Would it be worth it? Or would it just be like every other Friday night? Not that every other friday night is bad i just think it is best if i only go if its going to be spectacular... I havent seen them live b4... has any one seen em? If so wot were they like?

I'm particular about my hard house (actually usually prefer hand baggy jump around tunes) and also not that into the DJ just a standing there spinning disks....

LAB4 are total entertainment... the speak to and involve the crowd... mix in unusual tunes with a hard twist (last time I heard Eminem) and they jump and rock around in there own constucted cage which has all their electronic kits....

just an over all bloody awsome experience and I reckon BLOODY AWSOME..... ad sooo worth the price!! $25!!!! GOOD VALUE
