Sydney- *Sublime@HOME any friday...part two*

Hey all! I'm proud to say that i'm 100% definitely gonna be at sublime tomorrow night. Gonna be an awesome night!

I'm coming with some non-BL people, but hopefully i'll see some of you funky BL'ers there (i already know i'm gonna see ossie, and Aussie_Raver.. mate, how could i miss ya?!?)

So... big ups to all in funky gurning attendance!

Sorry katmeow, but 11th of July is the night of halcyon, a monthly night of uplifting trance at gas niteclub... i highly recommend you come along to that instead!

howdy all, well i am home. 6:15.. and 45 mins before my lift gets here for a packed day. sigh. oh the tortures of clubbing!

i would like to thank a certain number of bluelighters for making tonight an absolutely fantastic time!
soularus, you're a champion. plain and simple! i want your ipod!
aussieraver! also a legend, was good to see you dancing around! (hadn't seen this before)
Ossie! dude! haha, thank you *so* much for the lift home. pub transport would have been shocking!

shout outs to big mick who i saw briefly at the end! and flea! nice to put a face to a name. i so feel as though i've forgotten someone. but i so can't remember who! if you are that lucky person, take no offence! i'm not quite sane atm!

Hey guys! It's 7:27am and i've just arrived home. I haven't showered yet, or even had anything to eat: no, posting on BL takes much higher priority than that! In fact, i'm sitting here in front the computer still gurning, and my hands are shaking...LOL

Seeing as Jubas has posted a funky review thread of sorts, i'd just like to add to it and say one thing: THE CHILL OUT ROOM IN SUBLIME IS THE BOMB!! hmmm.... gurning hard, lots of lovely cuddles and massages, all warm and fuzzy.... This is definitely my NEW fave room. I mean, this room even has DnB for some booty shaken when ur not smackin out so hard...

Very memorable night, and absolutely wicked to see ossie, jubas, aussie_raver and bigmick (happy birthday mate!)

BRING ON ALTITUDE!!! 8o

Yeah that chillout room is awsome.. soo relaxing!! Had a great night. Soularus, jubas, aussieraver, was great hanging out with you guys. bigmick, hope u had a great birthday. only met u as i was leaving, will be sure to say hi at halcyon if u go.

only 6 days now till halcyon, 7 till godspeed.. Bring on next weekend!!!
 
yep pretty sik night it was, cant wait for teh crew to hit altitude, shall be awesome, good meeting the reg's that i know, Ossie, Jubas, Flea, Soularus, and also to big mick lol, out on teh balcony :)@!
 
Hey all... was just having some random flashbacks of subbies whilst at work, thought i'd share them with y'all....

1. Upstairs in Cargo, with Kate Monroe spinning some very funky and breezy feel-good house. God this room has a good atmosphere, much more of a party-feel than Voodoo, which is just like this enormous, dark rave-monster... Anyway, just as we're really getting into the groove Kate puts the classic House track "Daft Punk - Around the World" into her set and everyone goes nuts!! This track was funkin with my head! Oozing funk, this was the first time i've ever heard this wicked song played over a club system, and it certainly hit the sweet spot...

2. Downstairs in Voodoo, about 2 metres away from Peewee Ferris, watching him spin... Man, this guy WORKS the vinyl. He was grabbing it and spinning it round and doing all this weird stuff... And the place was going off! I wish i knew how the hell he does that! I must say i've got all new respect for Hard-Trance and for Sublime in general now... Those pounding 4-4 sections are just SO hard, and you just go nuts, with your teeth grinding and your hands in fists.... It was well-wicked for sure....

Thats about it! Can't wait to hit Subbies again soon... maybe once it warms up a bit, coz it's too bad when you step out onto the balconies at Home and you suddenly hit sub-zero temperatures...

BRING ON SUMMER!! (ONLY 5 MONTHS TO GO!! 8o )

hmm yes i had an awesome night too. second ever night at sublime for me. i really got into voo doo this time, it really is a 'dark rave monster' as soularus put it. that beat really vibrates through you!

I'd love to spend some more time up in cargo, but i need some room to bust a move! it was just so crowded up there! next time perhaps, next time.

Maybe next time, but we'll be on the door at subs, so that's the destination tomorrow night. Hope to see some of you there. I'll be front and centre Voo Doo. Probably wearing gray cargos and a pale blue top.

went to subbies on fri nite for the first time in aaaages. like well over a year.

that place hasnt changed a bit.

still full of dickheads.

good to see you again katmeow tho :)
 
i use to go there every weekend for like 3 n half years. hang on i had a 6 month break in between somewhere.

last year i got a divorce.

and yep subbies is where i met flea and alot of blers before signing up :)
 
There is only one place at subbies that promises a dickhead free night and that is right up the front in front of the dj booth... most likely u will run into praetorian so theres an added bonus

i didnt renew my membership this year (that place owes me a lifetime one) so wont be there. im not lining up for 3 hours.
