Sydney- *Sublime@HOME any friday...part two*

Well if you feel like less talking and more dancing you can always come and say hi to me, i'll most likely be right up the front at the DJ box in the main room.
I'll probably be there from bout 11.30-12, i have a shaved head (a pretty rude one at that :) ) and will be wearing a black t-shirt with Access Peace in orange on the front and a big design with circles and a love heart in orange on the back, and light grey 3/4 cargo pants...

It now seems i'm going to have to miss out. Some family breakfast thing with relo's etc etc on saturday morning. SUCKS. Well i'll be here soon enough again, and hopefully then...

Had a good night, took myself home around 4am and am now sitting at work feeling the pain. My throat really hates me today!
Good music, interesting company, bit of an eye opener with regards to a couple of the friends I was with. Being straight makes you see things in a different light.
All in all, exactley what I needed after the shittiness that encompassed friday at work ;)
 
Im not going this week, but i hear that Nik Fish is unveiling his label, Venom this week.. should be sick. I dont know anything about it? is it just like downunderground?

Oliver kiltzing was pretty good with a good mix of hard trance/techno and a bit of vocal trance with a good driving bass line, loved it, he even looked like he was enjoying him self, hands in the air.
The suprise set of the night went to nik fish of what i heard anyway
Yeah Nik Fish is realising his new 3 cd under the venom label this fri night, won't be there, have to work on sat.
 
Yeah last friday was a good nite, good seeing you again kat, and was good catching up with ya Mister_Duck :) I liked Oliver Klitzing's set, something a bit different which is always good, and yes Nik was banging it out at the start as usual :)
I'll most likely be there this friday nite for the launch of Nik's label Venom and the new cd... Should be an interesting nite then on to Two Tribes :D
 
i dont care that TT is on next day... its called alcohol... gotta love it ;)
I'll be plaguing the breaks room with my presence.... anyway, im sick of not meeting with any new bluelighters that loves subs

I would have liked to, but stuck at home due to working tommorw and getting up at 6 in the morning, also, i don't want to be to tired for 2 tribes tom night.

Well friday nite was certainly worth the trip in. I got there at about 12.30 after work and some running around. It ended up being a solo mission as my usual clubbing friends wanted to rest for TT.
Jumping Jack was playing a bit slower than usual and I couldn't wait for Nik to come on...
When he did he did not disappoint.. Nice and hard right from the start with me right up front (as usual :) ). His mixing was spot on and perfectly timed throughout and he looked like he was having a great time behind the decks... Half an hour into his set he reached under the decks and came up with 2 copies of his new cd which he handed to me (thanx Nik!!) and the guy to my left...
One of the best sets i've heard from Nik since his set at Voodoo's 6th birthday last year. And all 3 cd's on his label Venom's debut release 'Revolution' absolutely rock too :)
So yeah, I'm glad I went tho I think it's now time for a bit of a break after 3 weekends of madness :)
 
Whats the deal???? I Cant buy Nik's Cd anywhere??
didnt it get released after the sublime party... the dudes at HUM said he doesnt have distribution channels are they right?.... arghhh someone tell me where I can get this lol :)
 
did any BLers go to subbie last Fri?? yes i did and it was just mad man, i got there at 11:30 and danced non-stop till 4:30 and i didnt roll, only my fav vodka & lemonade ;)
Pee Wee was crap at first then at around 12:00 he started hitting the crowd with his talent, i was happy about that but he left at 1am and Jumping Jack came on, the only time i stopped dacning was a trip to toilet ;) ...danced so hard..until 4am Nik Fish's turn. i enjoyed him just for half hour then i had to leave, i had to wait till the music died down and left thru the exit immediately...what a night!!! havent danced like that since Transmission Anthem 3
 
I was there, I actually made it out of beatfix and wandered down to voodoo. From what I could tell, it sounded all good.
I kept getting freaked out by that platform they down in the front/middle, I kept losing my sense of direction... Thought I was in the middle but I was all the way round the side... was confusing.
 
hahah yeh that was annoying, i was near that little stage and i saw some dudes falling off it, not good at all
 
Dammit Joy, and i'm not going to subs to go to Thrillseeka!!! How come you not going??
I may be making an appearance but dont count on it...
 
i was there last week, it absolutely went off :) got in a bit after 12 and didn't stop dancing until around 6! fan-fukin-tastic!!! it was my birthday as well, what a special nite :)
wish i could be there again this week but the funds are mighty, mighty low :(
