Sydney- *Sublime@HOME any friday...part two*

I went to sublime last night for Lisa Lashes... It was an unreal night, the music was excellent, I have never spent the whole night in voodoo before but the djs kept me there for well over 6 hours dancing. Peewee Ferris played an unreal set.. I probably enjoyed this one the most, but Lisa Lashes played some mad hard house, its great that the sublime people brought a hard house dj in, it really mixed up the music and you could see from the expression on everyone's face that they like it as well.

just one thing tho

Sublime.. Please why so goddam loud. haha I sound like a grandpa, but ive been to HEAPS of events lately, plus loads of clubs, but my ears came out this morning screaming... It was so LOUD! almost painful. Next time i go back to sublime im wearing ear plugs... yeah i know... but hey.. im not losing my hearing because sublime has the loudest speakers and so must play at full pelt

Anyone going for a boogie this Good friday? After a few successive weekends of hard arse study, I've got some energy that needs to bust loose on the d-floor. =D

It's actually open thursday night this week due to friday being a public holiday.
it does close at 5 am though, and it's their Anthem night as well . Would love to go to this but have already got other plans

hi there! i havent been here in a looong time, and i probably dont know anyone here anymore, but im trying to get a group of my mates to come along with me for my birthday & was just curious to see if any blers i know will be going on 7th may :)
 
I wouldn't say it's the bees knees just yet, Raz.

It has its moments and people seem to go thru 'subbie phases' where you'll go there HEAPS and then not go there at all.

I might be there on thursday depending on working situations. Haven't been since July.
 
I maybe coming to Tiesto, however I am looking at working out a private function for the 30th April (If the dates free) to reserve Cargo between 11pm and 1am for invites only and then on down into subs!

A bl meet up :D - Will need to confirm though, havent heard back as yet.

damn, i keep getting dragged away on friday nights by things like ANOT, plastic or swarm... GRRR

but 30/04 will be good, before Tiesto next day...

dress code?

ok, like i said, its been a while since ive been to subs, and im just wondering if my intended outfit would be at odds with the current 'dress code'.
i plan to wear my black aphex twin tshirt, black trousers with reflective trim & uv reactive fake dreads.
is this too over the top or too 'goth'? i hate evaluating the way i dress in order to be accepted by others, but im coming from a long way & i love this club since i first went there 3 years ago and i would rather not be refused entry because of my more 'eccentric' sense of style.

i doubt that would be a problem. they generally pretty leniant with dress codes
