Sydney - Field Day - REVIEW

ive just made a really difficult, but also releiving decision, will be coming back to the wonderful land of Oz fron this shitty land that im in at the moment.

Im getting my friends to by my ticket now. Of all the events in Australia, this is one that i dont want to miss.

whast the rollcall here, shall we orgnanise some sort of meetup? i've missed all the other meetups because im lazy. but the motivation is definatley here for this one!

I don't wanna say I'm coming til I've got a ticket in my hand. This event has a history of selling out faster than I can get my ass to the Ticketek office.

if i dont go, selling them shouldnt be a problem :)

And SDB I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say the majority of Field Dayers aren't cool... they just think they're top shit.
 
Do you guys think you can jump over the fence at this festival? Anybody experienced with this?

I wouldn't count on it. I saw some people try last year, but they were all rounded up and carted out fairly quickly. And seriously... this party is worth paying for. it's not even that expensive compared with other new years experiences.

Fuzzy put on a fantastic show that deserves payment. If you want to go but don't think you can afford it, try saving some money, or maybe not take as many pills next time you go out or whatever.

Not that difficult...

OMG! OMG! So excited! Got new job so I'm a comin' to Field Day! =D

Also, about jumping the fence - I dont think it'll be possible. Firstly there'll prolly be lots of security all aournd and secondly I';m sure the paying punters would hurt you if they saw you scamming your way in, while they paid lots of hard earned money.

I dunno though, I guess it could be worth a shot though.

whos forgotten....in any case, i really dont think a meetup will eventuate, but hypotheically....where?

wow, the line up is great. (dj's/sets) everytime i read it i get excited. and then i take a kleenex to wipe everything away before mum walks in. 8(

dont jump the fence. advice was great by chaosbutteryfly. fuzzy does present things well, and i saw some fast people run after they jumped last year, even running into the tent, but they got caught. make other plans if thats your goal. and like rasberwatergirl said, the crowds not going to be the sort of crowd that will support that i dont think. which is why i like it over any other event.

I doubt there will be an official meetup but if you look for the group with the awesome frisbee skills you'll find me. Not that anyone would want to... but anyways...
 
frisbee?? fuck that. look for the clowns flying the kite. and im not talking small little, chopsticks + a plastic bag kite....im talking big, aerodynamic, cost $100 kite.
