my other half lives and plays in those mentioned places in Newtown... maybe I should drop by that night and poke my head in, if am in that part of the universe on that night...

I dont think they are but I wish they would hurry up with them already! I miss the bank :( mind you, fingers crossed renovations dont = change in crowd to snobby and wanky :\
 
the bank did have a website about the changes and everything

but

i cant find it

but i have been told by a mate at work that there is a BIG glass window out the back that has like views over to the city... Does this mean they have taken away our cocktail haven?

Ran into one of the old bank cocktail barmen at the marly bar the other day and he said the bank should be open soon.

Don't quite know what 'soon' entails, but I have also heard from other sources that it should be in July.

I just hope it hasn't been ruined!
 
If there is no cocktail haven, they have ruined it. :(

According to www.bankhotel.com.au it's reopening in August :)
 
I emailed The bank awhile go and they said the main part would be open in Sept and the rest (beer garden etc) at the end of the year... so who knows!

I miss the bank too <3

It's kewl hun, we will just drive there however if you & Miss LA want a lift you can always come in the pug with us :)
