SYD - Two Tribes - 6/03/04

You outa townas might be wise to remember that Mardigras is on and the influx from that takes up alot of beds but I wouldn't stress too much as long as backpakers are your speed.
Why stay at homebush?, it's a hole. Transport is plentiful in Sydney :) when there not on fucking strike that is.

Yayayayay, this is my last weekend before I do 2 months of weekend night shifts....gunna be messy lol.
 
does anyone know the set times for Green velvet??

Apparently he missed the plane and had to cancel his auckland two tribes apparence last nite I hope this isnt the case next weekend.

I'm doing everything in my power to come to this. Attempting to get work off, trying to whore myself out to be able to pay for it... I haven't missed one since I've been able to go to them, so why break the tradition this year?

Lastnite while nanging LilLeecie and myself were listening to Nova for some reason when a comp came on to win double passes to TT2004 and the TT CD. For a laugh we both decided to enter. 10mins later they announced we had BOTH WON!!!!! Now this would be hella funny at the straightest of times let alone while in a nang loop. =D What are the chances of two people in the same room that entered at the same time, winning??
Anyway...we thought it was funny. :D

As far as a meetup time goes. I'd like to suggest 11pm. No doubt someone good will be playing then, but i'd say that will be the case at any time. People can always make the meetup, say their hello's and run back if they need to. Like i said earlier once a spot has been found, it'll be "HomeBase" for a few puddled people, so it can be a meetup spot at any time after that.

Well congrats to you :) This is eerily like last 2 tribes when we were all driving in muzby's car, listening to Nova when the same competition came on and muzby won 2 tickets... strange :)

I think everyone needs to be able to recognize everyone at the meetup.... perhaps some sort of piece of clothing so we know who is a blueligher......... I'm thinking pockets.... yes.... pants with lots of pockets......... bright shirts? with slogans referring to drugs?

maybe everyone should take something to make us LOOK different to everyone else.... some sort of...tablet... one that would make our eyes big, as a sort of secret handshake.


I've got it! All bluelighters should take with them, some sort of stick. But not just any stick, a stick that glows! Take this to twotribes and you as a bluelighter will be easily distinguishable from all other Tribers, thanks to your glowing rod.

I'll be there, got my ticket a couple of weeks back. I got an early afternoon wedding to attend before rushing up to Newcastle for a 25th wedding anniversary dinner and then back down from there to homebush :) I can't wait!!

Go the SYD Crew, good to see a decent meetup for a change, now lets all remember to turn up this time!!! =D

As far as accomodation in SYD goes over that w/e, as already mentioned, SYD is almost booked out. The city is already full, and there are a few rooms left in suburban hotels/motels. Even backpackers are almost gone, coz its the backpackers that love Mardi Gras. As far as i am aware Novotel/Ibis Homebush is booked out already.

Meetup:

11pm onwards @ Grass Area behind the Howie Complex!!!
