Hello everyone,
I am here to talk about what I feel after about 2 months and half of suboxone use. I do not know what to say. I believe the ONLY good aspect of this drug is that I rarely have cravings, if someone brings up opiates etc. My mind does not automatically connect to previous using days or moments, and make start craving opiates.
Good to hear about the cravings. Id disagree and say I find more good aspects to suboxone, though.

As far as bowels I have stayed on literally 4mg, 2mg doses for both 1 week and 1/2 at a time, enough for the levels to go down to where the half-life would even out with my dose. Still hard to urinate at 4mg, but not 2mg I could urinate regularly. During these drops I experienced very little withdrawal, basically non noticeable to be honest, but done over 1 week 1/2 drops.
Ive never had difficulty peeing with suboxone, even at 12mg a day when I first started. And just like you, I experienced very little withdrawal (if any) when tapering down. I went from 12mg to 1mg extremely rapidly (matter of 2 or 3 weeks) and had no bad side effects. I do find when I take any less than 1mg, I dont feel fully better and also 1mg tends to only get me through about 14 hours, which is fine considering thats about how long Im awake during any given day, and sleep isnt so much of an issue when it wears off because the withdrawals are mild.

As far as bowels, since the first month on a steady 8mg a day, which still to this day unless you cut the pills in four quarters an 8mg will take basically one hour to dissolve and to receive all the bupe. Back to the bowels, taking 100mg of Docusate Sodium and 15mg Calcium sennosides, every morning, I still had heavy constipation. And certain times there was blood in the stool from just not going as regularly as I should be. Personally, I brought it up to two doctors which really brushed the comment aside?
I dont dissolve my pills, I snort them, so I cant comment on that, but about the constipation, I usually only shit two times a week, three at the most, and its been that way for 4 months now, since ive started (3 years if you count before I started) and its almost the same when I do shit as it was when I was using dope. It backs up and compacts, and bleeds when it finally does come out (which hurts like a mother fucker.)
Like I said in my other post earlier, let yourself go into withdrawals for a little bit and you will be able to shit. Lately Ive been trying to do this everyday, even if I shit very little, so that I can at least get some of it out. Taking your doses within 12 - 24 hours of eachother is just going to build up the levels in your system, due to the long half life, making it harder and harder to shit. At this point, Id say take your next dose and let it completely wear off, or wear off enough so you have the ability to go, then go, and then take your next dose. Not only will you be able to shit, but you will be able to save some pills for emergencies also.

And another note to the use of recreational suboxone, I do not really think there is such a thing unless you are totally opiate naive or taking this drug for the first couple weeks, BUT there is strange occurrence that does happen and I have talked with other users about this. Some days you will feel nothing off say any dose you take +8,4,2mg...other days...+8,4,2mg will get you completely stoned. Glossy eyes, energy, that "opiate feeling", but I would not call it a buzz.
I know exactly what you mean. I get it often. The main reason I wanted to get down to 1mg is for the anti-depressant effects I (and most others) get at that level. Honestly, I cant work without it. I work in lawn care, fertilizing lawns, so lots of walking is invovled and without that stimulation, I just couldnt do it. But to me, its more than just stimulation. Its a good mood, feeling of well being, body feels not buzzed but better than normal, which is a high enough for us who have the other option of being in withdrawals. My pupils actually get tiny too, which has a huge mental effect on opiate users.

So I dunno guys/gals something to think and discuss about, I think drug is still very new to people but seems like more and more people are getting on it. I am currently tapering off, but I kind of want to stay at a 1mg (can piss, shit, and do not feel high, which is what I did not want to feel in the first place) for a while because of the non-craving aspect. I really do not want to get back on dope but there is always that junkie mentality I would assume most of us have. And I have always liked the pure/clean aspect of having nothing in my body. Anyways take care to all.
My advice, definitley get down to 1mg. 1mg is where its at. Its perfect. And good luck. Im 4 months in with no intention of looking back. Its not worth it.
I also want to get off it eventually. It would be a huge relief to just be clean, in the real sense of being clean, not just clean from heroin.

Oh, and one more thing. On the days that the opiate "buzz", or whatever you want to call it does kick in. I find my personality changing into this irritable, rude, fuck the world type of guy, and people notice it, which isn't me. Just another side effect that pisses me off. Thanks again all!
Thats just opiates for you. Any opiate that had an effect on me made me irritable.
