Thanks to those who directed me here. So I took the Sub right after I did my last bag, only an hour inbetween and i was fine! Thank god. The thing is, i have a court date tomorrow and its a kind of important one (as its no surprise most addicts have legal troubles :/ ) and i have been on Sub for 3 days now, still not feeling so much better like I had expected.. I guess since I'm used to being on methadone, which instantly takes away ALL sickness, i kind of expected the same of Suboxone. So needless to say I am disappointed, especially after THREE DAYS! It just doesnt seem normal to still be feeling sick after all this time? i have taken lots of different dosages to try to figure this out, but its all the same. And on top of some WD symptoms (though of course more minor than would normally be without any help from Subs) I find that most of all i am having cravings sooo bad, and that is just something i don't know what to do about! Its true i feel dopesick, but when i honestly reflect i can tell I am kind of subconsciously exaggerating the severity of my sickness to convince myself and others that its ok to call my guy up and buy some H. I mean, does the sickness ever fully go away on these and if so, how freakin long will it take?! And also, does anyone have any advice on cravings, especially while on Suboxone, and if that too goes away or can be helped? I have my whole world at stake here (my husband and son, place to live, etc,) so...Thanks for any advice you have!

hey guys ? for those on subutex. which is the better/best brand of tex currently on the market? I went in to the sub doc, 1st time and basically quoted a post i read from our beloved Captain Heroin(Thanks Cap'n) on the bs about suboxone and how I wanted the tex or i wasnt gunna continue and he caved like a little bitch hehe. So Im guna fill it tomarrow and wanna know the best brand to get. I like to use 0.5-1mg intranaslly as well as subling. Is one of them better for snorting then other(s). any help wud be great!!!

The symptoms aren't overly terrible, but haven't improved much in the last few weeks. I have a mild skin crawling/tingling/hot/sweaty sensation in my arms, i always feel hot all over, i can't sleep for shit, and im really sensitive to pain in my back and ribs when laying or sitting in a way that's not totally comfortable. Most just the skin crawling and temp irregulation that's pissing me off. This should be gone by now..


I've used lope on and off to try and help with sleep when i have work the next morning, but that's it and i haven't used it anywhere close to every day, and only at like 4-6mgs, which admittedly doesn't do much of anything to help...

Guys I just need a straight answer plz, I'm on 4mg subs for 2 weeks will I fell any withdrawl from 150 ml of oxycodone a day for a year, if it matters here's some more history I've only been on subs once before for a month I started at 4ml and tapered down to 0.25 mg in a month, but I really wana be medication free so I can finally get everything out my system be4 work, or do y'all think it's a better idea ti stay on them and leave that decision to the docs?thx

I take 4mgs of sub a day... in 1mg doses throughout the day..

If i still have cravings do i need to take more sub?

Also i just shot up 45mgs of oxy and definetly got high.. even after taking 4mgs of sub today...

Do i need to take more sub? I want to stop shooting maybe i need to take more sub to have less cravings?

I don't know, man. I think it requires some effort on your part. It's not a wonder drug.

That said, it sounds like methadone might be more for you.

Going from Suboxone to Oxy. Need some advice guys, please help.

OK guys so I plan on going off the Suboxone to switch onto Oxycodone temporarily. I think that I'm going to wait 48 hours.

I have been taking the Suboxone for a couple years and have not used any other opiate since then. I've decided I want to have some fun. I think I deserve it.

Now, I can go 24 hours without the Suboxone easily but its once I get to 36 hours I start to feel shitty. First question: Can I take a small dose, like 10mg of oxycodone every six hours to help the withdrawals from Suboxone? Remember, the plan is to go 48 hours or a little longer before I use a recreational dose. I'm wondering, will oxycodone help the BUPRENORPHINE withdrawals? Obviously I know it would for any other opiate. Once I make it to "48 hours" my second question is this: if I haven't used ANY other opiate in a coupe years other than the Suboxone at 4-8mg daily would I feel the effects of 50-60mg oxycodone?

So basically wondering if I could use 5-10mg of oxycodone a few times once I've made it to 36 hours and then once I make it to 48 hours will like 60mg get me high? And I haven't used in a couple years. Also, for those who have been on Suboxone and done similar, was 48-52 hours enough for you to feel "most of" the effects? I know people say up to 72 hours but must you really wait that long to start to feel the majority of the effects?

I don't want to hear people tell me to stay clean. This is only temporarily until the bottle runs out.

I will begin looking through this thread now, but I figured I would post my problem IMMEDIATELY so that I can begin to taper off subs immediately if needed.

OK heres the deal:
I've been on 16mg of Suboxone for 5 days now.
I do NOT want to be addicted to suboxone.
I'd rather be addicted to pills.
Because I know that I can taper off of pills easier.
I want to get BACK ON PILLS and just, taper off of them, onto kratom.
But I have NO idea HOW, OR if it is possible?? IS this possible??

I had NO idea suboxone was WORSE to withdraw off of than regular opiates.
I would have honestly just hunkered down and withdrawn off of a 30mg dose of percocet!!
Look, I am NOT a huge opiate user. I almost feel DUPED into taking these 2 pills a day.
I was only using 30mg percocet for most of my addiction, then the last two weeks before I got onto suboxone, I went from using one perc30 a night, to one opana 40 a night, to 2 opana 40s a night. THAT is why the doctor told me to "take up-to 16mg" of the suboxone, he only knew the last week of my usage!!! He thought I NEEDED 16mg. Fuck that! If I knew what I know NOW about suboxone, I would have just tapered off of opanas, then off the percs, onto kratom, and I'd be happy.

Someone, PLEASE, I dont CARE if I wont get high on the pills, I just want to withdraw off of THEM, not suboxone!!!
So, is it possible, to get back on pills, as soon as... a week from now? WHAT steps should I take??

taper down to 2-4mg.. then stabilize on that and drop another mg and then cut it in half and continue until you can stop taking them. All it takes is a little (okay, well maybe a lot) of will power and you could come clean right now, but if you can't take the challenge than do the sub taper.
If you have only been on sub 5 days w/d's from them should be minimal, dont go back to pills.. take the advice i gave above and you will be clean before you know it.

Once I am at 2mg... What are my options? Can I use a perc 30 instead of 2mg of suboxone, and then just continue using perc 30s for a week, then pop down to like.. a UEI kratom extract? Anyone think this is possible??

you can taper with bupe as well..... 16mg's is an insanely high dose, and WD from maintenance is completely different than the WD from a taper, its all realative really............

i would much rather do a sub taper than a short acting opiate taper...

Honesly sub withdrawal just lasts forever it aint too bad... Not as intense as other opiate just more annoying.....

your chance of taking kratom and quitting is slim to none..

Since you dont want to take subs.. just wait 1 or 2 days stop taking sub.. then resume with whatever u want to take..

But shit man 16mgs of sub for a 30mg percocet habit is fucking ridiculous..

why the 30's and kratom? you could just taper off the subs and be done with it.

once at 2mg drop to 1mg then .5mg and .25 if you feel you need it and then 0mg/day you will be clean with minimal w/d's if you start the taper now.
