yes, in order to maximize the euphoric properties of the low dose suboxone, you need to have stabilized on a low dose(under 1mg prefferably, maybe under 1.5mg's)....for a long period of time. You are right, your brain still has "leftover suboxone" in it from your higher doses you took in the past. I think if you try to get down to only taking 1mg or less in the next couple days, you should definitely start feeling that euphoria within a week of being on that low dose. I honestly think you will feel the euphoria faster than that, but just to be safe, i said a week. You never know, everyones different, and it may take longer for your brain/body to adjust to the low dose.
And actually, since your taking it sublingually, you might want to stabilize at a dose of 1.5mg's ("maybe" 2mg's) because the BA is much smaller sublingually than it is IV, and i generally IV my subs. Allthough, I dont think it would hurt to give 1mg a try for a while, in fact, I think it would work better even though you take your subs SL. But if you DO go down to 1mg for a week and still dont feel that much, you might want to try kicking up your dose to 1.5 or 2mg's. Or actually, you should try snorting the subs unless you have something against it. That increases the BA alot, and it makes them kick in much faster, which makes the euphoria much more noticeable in my opinion.
I would reccommend starting tommorow off with a .75-1mg dose. And later in the day if you start to feel sick take another 0.5 mg's. And then let me know how it went.
are there any other questions i can help you with?
im glad you seem to be doing well at the low doses, and are even starting to feel the euphoria that so many people think im lying about.
