hello every..it has been alittle less than 24 hours since i took a 8mg of a sub..i was wondering when is the next time i can do a oxy..i had the sub from my friend just cuz i was hurtin bad and couldnt get the supply of oxy i usually get...alittle help i would appreciate it..thanks

Are you asking if he will script you the klonopin or the subs?

If you mean the subs then i would say most likely yes. It probably depends on how long you've been on them, dose, etc.

I recommend it. It may be expensive but it really can give an amazing opportunity to make rational decisions about your future.

Just don't tell your Suboxone doctor you are on Klonopin.

And, if you get both medications, cut back on the Klonopin. You won't need as much of a benzo when on Suboxone.

well im on 2mg daily for sleep. been on em almost a year now. I get them from my therapist.

yea that works the sub doc doesnt need to know.... i get klonopin from my therapist for anxiety


it prolly would aslo be best to find a somewhat lax sub doc?yes?

I haven't heard of many non-lax sub docs. They all want to put you on a high dose from my experience.

Yeah; find a Suboxone doctor who doesn't drug test. This will: 1 - speed up the time until you can get relief, and 2 - save you $. Most clinics that drug test you will do so - and then charge you for it!

I'm sure you'll be happy you did... I think we can all agree sub maintenance is clutch... I rarely, rarely hear or read of anyone disliking suboxone or regretting maintenance. If you're truly sick and tired of the b.s. that comes along w/ active addiction and ready to quit then this is your ticket.

More than likely the Dr. will piss you. I'd say if they test you when you start the maintenance that you can count on it monthly. If that's the case, and they find it in your analysis, I'd tell Dr. its a mild dose prescribed for sleeping that you use as needed, and if you notice the sub keeping your anxiety and sleep in check, tell him you'll cut back or quit if possible. I know of a few sub patients w/ different Dr.'s that have had benzo's prescribed... My Dr. told me it was an option for me, IF necessary. Who knows? Every Dr. is different, GOOD LUCK

yea thats what i was worried about the benzos comin out in the piss test cause im assuming most do piss test even if it costs more. but yea that sounds like some good stuff to say. much thanks

Mine doesn't piss test. I told them from the beginning I would be unwilling to do this, and they had no problem.

I just suggest you ask over the phone about the process, and if they mention a drug test, just call the next clinic until you find one which doesn't.

Every clinic has their own way of doing stuff.

yea gonna start makin em calls soon, I just gotta check with my parents if all the funds should be in order. and im going back to college ina week... so it might be better to do it out there.
 
I'm down to 0.4mg/day

Starting to get proper difficult now.The sickness in the mornings is starting at around 3am.

The benzos help but I only get 2 days supply each week. Going to ask if I can get a raise on that on wednesday.

Thats rough man, i feel for you. It's too bad you can't stay at each dose longer so your body can adapt a little better.

More benzos would probably be good, do you start to feel any better towards the middle/end of each dose change? Maybe you could get like 3-4 days of benzos.

You just don't want to end up taking them 7 days a week otherwise by the end of the bupe w/d you'll have a nasty benzo problem.
 
Yesterday, I only had 0.5mg for the whole day and felt great. There was a lot of yawning in the hours leading up to the 2nd dose, but nothing I couldn't handle.

I understand that it can get difficult < 1mg/day, and I'm trying to taper lower as soon as possible as well.

I'm busy at the moment so I have to run. talk to you all later.
 
I've gone back to the mirtazapine when the benzos are gone.

I've found 30mg mirtazapine and a few beers gets me few hours sleep.
 
Yeah, it won't be easy, but at the same time, it won't get any easier. There's no way you can quit without feeling some withdrawals, no matter what dose you come off of. The WD's from .5mg will be bearable.
