there's a mega thread on buprenorphine for a reason, to keep all the bupe posts together. im merging this in their. i don't see how your question is different to any other "if i take bupe and then score some heroin xx hours after, will i get high?"

to answer you question - depending on how much heroin you dose you may break through the bupe and stave away the wd's. it would be best to wait until you start wd'ing and then dose the heroin or just hold out altogether until you get the h.

Haha.... Then that makes me want to keep my dose right where it's at.. Nah I kinda figured that was what is going to happen when I eventually do have to come off this EXPENSIVE stuff... oh well, good thing I got a girl that likes to fuck a lot...
 
Asking Doc about Suboxone

Lately I have been looking into Suboxone clinics in my area. I want to go talk to a doctor about getting a prescription but I was just wondering what kind of questions they ask you and how personal it gets..

when i went to my sub doctor he was very understanding, he asked what i was taking along with the mg, and frequency of use. he was very reassuring that i could tell him the truth and that he wouldn't look badly upon on my narcotic dependance. he was very understanding and was impressed that i wanted to stop taking pain pills. i hope you have the same success as i did with my doctor. he gave me 2 8mg pills a day for the first couple mounths and i had no problem with the transition.... good luck

Question:

T+0: snorted 2mg of subutex (note subutex, not orange hell)

T+6h: snorted 0.20 g of dope, friend did 0.10 and got floored. I got only mild sensation, some sweating, maybe a tad more talkative, but no buzz whatsoever

T+12h 30mins: I prepare a shot dissolving approx 0.45g of same stuff, I proceed to inject, when I am 3/4 done with the shot, needle gets clogged due to too much blood and I end squirting the rest up my butt (that was the last needle I had)

I definitely expereience (diminshed) heroin rush and I happily light the cigarrete waiting for the ride and enjoying my mini rush.

5 minutes later, the high is almost gone. My eyes are pinned (And they definitely wouldn't be after 13 hours of no bupe) but I feel mostly straight with only a small opiate warmth in the stomach and content feeling.

T+13h: 12mg valium, 1/2 mg of kpin, still feel mosty sober. Not even sleepy even tho it's past bedtime

T+15h: Unsatisfied with the results I proceed to snort 6mg of bupe, take another mg of kpin and smoke a _very_ small bowl.

15ish min later I finally get nice warmth and definite opiate buzz

I begin nodding and enjoying my opiate bliss like usual.

Now can someone tell me wtf is going on?

I know that I, if very subtle, succesfully intoxicated myself with full agonist.
I took sub about hour and a half later. I was fully aware that it's probably gonna precipitate the withdrawals, at least for hour or two until things get right.

But instead I get the insanely good synergy. I am content, well stoned and I nodded off at least 15 times whilst typing this thread.

Can someone explain me why there were no precip. w/ds? How it is that I can combine these two drugs like this? (not counting benzos and weed, they go well with everything)

Any input is appreciated.

You're using heroin while buprenorphine is still in your system. It is blocking most of the heroin you are trying to get high on.

If you want to use heroin, don't use buprenorphine for 3 to 4 days, then try using heroin.

For me, both heroin and buprenorphine are great with sex. It doesn't really boost stamina, it's just a very enjoyable experience to have while having some great sex.
 
Chemicals used in the cutting of illicit Heroin cause a rush, or add to the rush from IV Heroin. Procaine, Inositol, Quinine, Lidocaine, etc

My guess is beta-endorphin (runner's high) from the expected satisfaction of shooting Heroin, a rush from the cuts in the dope, and placebo effect. The Buprenorphine blocked the Heroin, which is why consuming Buprenorphine shortly after consuming Heroin did not result in PW.

For a BMT maintenance patient on higher doses or whose been on BMT for a long time, several days are often required (as the captain mentioned) before a full agonist can be consumed and bind successully to mu receptors. However, tolerance is a funny thing. My worst OD experience was after going 4 days without Buprenorphine (32mg/day), experiencing acute withdrawals, then shooting 4 dimes in a shot. Never fell out like that before.

The closest I came to an OD (though I never have) was after I was 3 days clean, trying to quit, when I got 0.2 of some brown powder. Afterwards, I felt as if I was underwater. %)
 
Hello boys and girls.

How long after methadone use can i take my Suboxone dose again 4mg?

Ive been on Suboxone för about 7months. Took a break for 36h, took 30mg of Methadone (10 mg pills) on Thursday and then about 70-100mg Methadone on Friday (can't remember exactly, alot of bensos and GHB involved)
Anyway, that was Friday evening around 1900-2000 i took the last dose of Methadone.
Today its Sunday 1600... when can i take my Suboxone again without going into withdrawal?

Really appreciate an experienced answer since the WD from taking Bupe with opiates in system really really s#¤s... Thanks!
Took tramadol yesterday and will take today too since this can be taken with suboxone.

Stamina yes.... pleasure...no.
Opioids in general has that side-effect on me that i can't get horny.. its really hard to get in the "mood"
as you women like to call it.. he he.
And to cum, is practically impossible... maybe if i haven't ejaculated in weeks i can maybe cum but otherwise - no. This is of course a big problem with the woman.
But if i combine my Subs/other opioids with benso & alcohol & GHB i can master in the sack!

Alright.. but does it matter that i only used Methadone two days? and only 30mg the first day?
And before that i used bupe as i wrote, and from bupe it can go a week-week½ before i feel WD's so...

^ Yes, it matters. Wait until you are in withdrawals before dosing the bupe. Since you were using methadone, it may take a bit longer than 24 hours before withdrawals set in.

Just to answer everyone!
I waited 48h from my last Methadone dose, then took about 2mg of Suboxone.
At first i started getting very cold, thinking - not again... then sweating.
But after 5-10mins it got better and better. And now i feel like i should! :) So it went well!
If i should wait for withdrawals before dosing bupe i would have to wait 1-2 weeks... and that long doesn't methadone last in my system from just 2days with ~130mg of Methadone.

There is no way it takes 1 - 2 weeks for Methadone withdrawals to set in. If you can go that long without withdrawals, then you can go even longer without withdrawals, meaning you aren't going to feel withdrawals at all.
 
Hi,
I was originally prescribed Bupe in Spain (it comes in 0.02mg pills there) for pain.
When I came back to the states (I move between Spain and the U.S quite a bit; I call both my home) I doc prescribed me 8 mg Subutex. I later learned that there are 2 mg Subutex pills, but considering the ASTRONOMICAL costs out of pocket, the 8 mg pill is a better value (2 mg = ~$x/2 mg pill and ~$xx/ 8 mg pill...so that would be $xx for 8 mg of Bupe if you had the 2 mg pills). Ridiculously inconvenient (that should be the slogan of the U.S health care system).

OK, so the since the Subutexs is scored, you can cut it into 4 mg parts. But how can you be sure that cutting the un-scored half will yield you 2 mg?

^you can't be sure but because it's not a street drug, the bupe is pretty evenly dispensed throughout the pill. i split an 8mg into 4 even parts and each division had the exact same effect on me.

i think you mean 0.2mg tabs over in spain right, not 0.02mg? temgesic?

i just edited your prices out as well, there's no price discussion allowed outside the price thread:)
