tonight i discovered how much more superior methadone is to suboxone. im not using it for maintenance but still. i took a white pill that was scored and had 25 on one half, and P design on the other. i dunno how many mg's it was but it got me feeling nice all day and night. not head fucked like i get on suboxone. does anyone know how many mg's it was? im guessing 25, but it was only marked on one side and nothing on the other so i dunno.

^ No pill IDs. Anyway, great detective work, thinking the 25 on the pill MUST mean its 25mg. They don't make 25mg methadone. Speaking of which, my buddy has some pills that say M357 on them.... they must be 357mg morphine or something. Wow, what a deal.

Anyway, enough of that. They make 5, 10, and 40 (the 40s are wafers, distinctive from pills). So maybe you took 10mg. Or maybe you didn't take it at all, I don't care.

But what you said doesn't even matter. So you like methadone for getting high. Wow. Awesome.

Still though, no pill IDs.

I just got this response from my email by someone when I was asking why the pills weren't dissolving.

Hi Evan

I can't be certain, since I am not a medical professional, but it sounds to me like you may have gotten a bad batch of Suboxone tablets. The only thing I can suggest is talking to your doctor or pharmacist about the problem.

MY RESPONSE

I tried that... I took the pills back and they relpaced them. The replacements were as bad as the originals. When I got my new scrip I it to a completely different pharmacy (Walgreens). The pills LOOKED much better and the first couple disolved wonderfully, but they started to turn on me after about the 3rd day of taking them - same problem as earlier. I don't get this, it's like they only stay good for 24-48 hours then they're garbabe. I don't want to just swallow the pill juice that builds up in my system as I'm afraid of it either cancelling out the bup or worse, send me into withdrawal because of the naloxone.

Because you will only get 10 percent of the bupe if you do that. Bupe has a 10% bioavailablility when you swallow the pill. You really don't want to do that because bupe is 3 times as effective if taken under your tongue.

Your best method of administration besides IV is to just snort the bupe because it gives you around twice as much bupe as putting it under your tongue.

Step 2: For every 1mg of Suboxone, draw up .25ml of alcohol. If you're using 3mg of Suboxone, that would mean you'd need 1.5ml?
Hey 6/7 I'm not too sure what you mean here wouldn't 3mg of suboxone need .75ml of alchohol or did you mean the other way around? I just thought some that are using your method step by step may be confused by that. Good stuff though I don't even use a syringe, and just eye ball the alcohol and it still works great. Thanks man=D

Suboxone naseau + feeling worse

I came across a fair amount of goods this thanksgiving break and ended up doing a 30mg OC thursday and friday. Yesterday I got a suboxone and did a little less than half of the orange hexagonal pill (sublingually) and felt good for the majority of the night. I woke up this morning with some slight hangover effects (but was still feeling well) then around 11am I took half of what was left of that pill and ended up getting bad nausea and what felt like mild morphine withdrawal. My lower back ached and I had a headache. Since then I'm feeling a bit better and was wondering why the suboxone acted that way? Should I even bother taking the rest or should I just wait a while?

EDIT: I am not a regular user of either of these pharms

How is your opiate tolerance??? I have seen friends get really sick off suboxone with a little or no tolerance. There is also a possibility that the antagonist is reacting badly in your system.

I'd say my tolerance was pretty low before Thursday. Last opiates I had been using were tramadol and percocets on occasion over the summer (july-august)

Also the pill was Subutex, the large N8 football.

I just don't understand why 2mg of it made me feel so bad compared to the 3.5ish I took the day before. Maybe I was on an emptier stomach this time.

Sounds like precipitated withdrawal.

The opiates that you had done previously were occupying your receptors and when you took the sub, that wiped those receptors clean and caused w/d.

You have to wait until you are in moderate w/d until you should dose.

I am not sure how long you were using opiates for this time, and background info like, if youve ever had a habit in the past etc.

PAWS didn't even cross my mind. Most likely, it was withdrawals. There is a possiblity that your sensitive to suboxone. Maybe its a mix of the two.

Its not withdrawals, you took way too much suboxone in too short a time period.

4mg is a ton for somebody with no tolerance (you have little to NO tolerance if you were getting high off 30mg oxy), then before waiting for that to clear out of your system (suboxone has an absurdly long half-life) you took more the next day and it made you sick because you already had a lot of suboxone leftover from the previous dose.

The avg half-life for suboxone is 37 hours. If you took 4mg, then waited only 24 hours before taking more, you still had around ~2-3mg of suboxone lingering in your system. Just because you don't feel it doesn't mean that its not still attached to your receptors. The psychoactivity of almost every drug wears off well before the substance is metabolized.

I'm surprised the 4mg didn't make you sick to begin with. You put a LOT of an incredibly potent opioid into your system with virtually no tolerance.

Whenever you get nauseous from opiates while they are still in your system, chances are its NOT withdrawal. You just took too much.

Nausea is not the first symptom of opiate withdrawals, it certainly wouldn't be the first ailment you notice.

I wasnt meaning that they were having w/d FROM the subs.

I mean PRECIPITATED w.d from the opiates.

Oh, and, I didnt mention PAWS. That is post acute withdrawal sx, and I am referring to Precipitated withdrawal
