Stop bashing cops

It don't really matter to me I would just like to keep discussing it all, not have it destroyed. If that means keeping it all in one thread or in two, whatever works best. Still there is a connection between all things that have been discussed here, just not made to be apparent yet.

C'mon, you don't know what her motives are, or even if she has any.

I honestly can't believe that the way a person chooses to express herself can bother you all so much. She's stated that she is happy with herself the way she is (kudos to her, what a great attitude) and she doesn't feel that it affects her life negatively. So her boss doesn't want her talking to customers, sounds like a good deal to me. I might use some gangsta language next time I have to answer the phone at work:D

If you don't like it, it's your problem. Let it go already. You're acting like a bunch of fascists;)

this shit is relly starting to get old. ive talked about it in this thread way 2 much, in other threads way 2 much, but its always started by someone who got something negative to say about the way i am
it aint like i wanna talk about it all day for fun but all yall just cant seem to fuckin stop bringing it up

its fuckin stupid this is a message board and u go to a certain point to get heard and get peoples heads straight about where youre comin from but by this time it aint accomplishing SHIT cause it aint makin a difference

its one sided, one person says soemthin against me, i tell them where its at, then 30 other people agree w/the first person and everyone jumps on and no one will take a point i say and give it credit

by this point i relly dont give a fuck anymore , this dont mean anything or make any difference at all - now its just people who truly believe something and cant change their mind

lacey is my girl and has intelligent contributions to most threads. if you judge what she has to say on the style of how she is saying it, you should be kicked in the face.
 
I don't mind the way lacey k types. The grammar may be different than standard English, but it is consistent. Honestly I have a harder time deciphering the meaning behind TrippedOutKid's posts, but that is my problem. (No offense TrippedOutKid; I just wanted an example from this thread.) What I do wonder, lacey, is if it takes more time to type in ebonics than if she used standard grammar and vocabulary. Well probably you have enough practice now, but did it slow you down at first? 3y3 c4n 7yp3 in 1337 5p34k, which is slower than my normal speed, but I think with practice I would become faster.

There are some things that piss me off, or at least make a post harder to understand. It would be nice if everyone capitalized the first letter of sentences and used terminal punctuation marks. I abhor the use of downright lazy abbreviations, such as 'c' for 'see', 'u' for 'you', '2' and '4' for 'to/too' and 'for', etc., though this is much more a problem in chat/IM. (Something tells me "etc.," violates some rule. Oh well, everyone needs a little hypocrisy in their life.) There is a special place in hell reserved for people who do not use paragraphs. BUT... it is a waste of time and effort to complain about these, so I either get over it or skip over it.

Also annoying are run-on, rambling, or downright incoherent stimulant-fueled rants, not least because I battle this tendency in myself. I try to make sure my sentences technically follow the rules of grammar, but I overuse conjunctions and semicolons. I hope I am largely coherent; certainly I am far from the worst offender in that area.

In conclusion, fuck the police.
 
im not saying talking like that is bad but honestly on a message board its pretty hard to read. Yo boi rememba the dayz wen we usd to smoke teh bluntz? Lacey K can talk however the fuck she wants. But on a message board I would much prefer to have someone speaking in proper english allowing for the discussion to flow easier. Its alot easier to understand some ones thoughts when your on the same level thats all im saying its hard for me to read gangsta talk as opposed to hearing it.
 
Back to the cops thing. I was just wondering what you all think would happen to you if you got handed the gun and the uniform and had to be a cop for a while?

Do you think you would be fair? Would you be able to stop your own personal predjudices from affecting the way you did your job?
 
If you read my post very carefully, you will notice that I specifically identified the things I didn't care about that you brought up: sexual harassment cases, why you left certain jobs, etc etc. I never said I blanket don't care about what you have to say. Its ok though. I know you cant find examples of me following you around because they dont exist. I was just curious to see if you'd admit you were wrong.

To recap: my point is this. For people to pay attention to what we say, sometimes we have to take care in the way we say it. I attempted to illustrate that by using an example that everyone here is familiar with, IE lacey k. That does not translate into a personal attack on Lacey k. I don't have any problems with how she speaks, I dont want her to change, and to be honest if she wanted to communicate via smoke signals its not going to fuck up my day. However, what I take exception to is being accused of having some mythical vendetta, e-stalking her, posting comments in her gallery, etc, and even being someone else, all without a shred of proof to back it up. Basically, I want either proof of her allegations or her to admit she was wrong. Since she can't do either of these things, I'm going to continue to be annoyed with her.

Intoxikate: she wouldnt have to keep explaining herself if she didnt keep making stupid accusations. Or perhaps you think its ok to accuse without providing proof?

Beatlebot: I'd be a lot happier being a cop if you could let your personal prejudices affect the way you did the job. Ignore the high school kids smoking a joint, ignore that guy in the club swallowing a pill. But you cant, because then word gets around that so and so cops letting people off, and that raises suspicions of corruption and you'd get fired. So, you'd have to bust all the small time users. And that would rest very heavily on my conscience.

I wouldn't bust anyone except violent offenders. I would give drunk drivers a ride home rather than a 3,000$ debt. I would be fired for not meeting my quota.

but honestly, if i were ever allowed to walk around in a police station without anyone think my having a gun was strang. I would kill as many cops as I could before they got me. That or use my status as ability to get close to and kill powerful economic and political leaders. But I don't believe in violence and would never carry a gun.

I think it's so funny when a cop walks up to my car and talks to me like i'm a danger to other people. I always tell them, "with all due respect sir, you are the one with a fire arm strapped to your hip."
 
Yeah stop bashing lacey k. I wasn't offended either fearhs I am usually difficult to understand. I get some of my social skills from my great, great, grandmother. :D

To be honest I would prefer a taser or tranq gun if anything but I would spend my job busting cops for my quota instead. Don't really matter to me if I meet it but sure would be interesting. Of course the reasons I bust them for will be legit. ;)

Some people on this board and even in life... I just dont fucking understand. Always judging others on what music they like, what they wear, how they talk, where there from and what they are intrested in. Just plain fuckin criticizing and hating shit for no good reason and then jumping to these fucking baseless conclusions. It drives me to the fucking edge. Seriously, try to find a legitimate reason for hating someone. Lacey aint a bad person so theres no reason to hate her.

Just let her be who she is. Dont fuckin bitch her out doing, being, and acting they way she wants to act. Learn to respect people. Lets end the drama.

Back on topic, I hate cops with a passion now. It gets greater every day. Some gay State Trooper did a U turn and tailgated my ass to college today. Fuckin pigs.
 
For the record, music aside (which doesnt bug me at all) i find laceys mannner of posting interesting, and refreshing to read. thats just me tho, and im different than most people, because I'm infinitely more interesting and quirky.

I hate when they follow you and harass you for no reason from their cars thinking you have something etc.

Some people just hate that's all. What I find odd is they still try to find an excuse to justify it instead of being right out and bold with it. I dunno I am not using any specific examples, I just remember it in my past like my ex's sister and mom. I know people can be like that. Not all cops are bad though but most are kind strange for me lol. I dated one before he became one and am friends with another all the way in California. We disagree on things but it don't come between us and we are pretty nice together. He's roughly my age I believe too.
