I miss you all and although I'm excited beyond belief about Starscape, it won't be quite the same....

fuckers at work won't cover my shift for friday

and even if I called out, they've decided I'm the red-headed stepchild and given me FOUR, count 'em FOUR, hours the week after next, meaning I couldn't even live on a shoestring budget for the next couple of weeks.

I am sad to say I am sitting this one out. Everyone have fun, be safe, and don't take candy from strangers.

Dazzle??!! Yeppers we sure did. EGoTrip, Kasper....a bunch of us met up in Philly a few years back outside a diner....Johnny Rockets, I believe. It's been a long time. Sorry I won't see you Saturday.

Im wearing the pair of shoes I wore to the last starscape, because they are still covered with mud and dirt from the dew on the grass then walking to my friend's car.

oh yah and im bringing my friend captain morgan too. rather, half a gallon of him, i drank his other half.

we should rename this bluelightscape!!

^^ yeah, I will be breaking my old Adidas superstars out of retirement. lol. I got plenty of use out of them, haven't worn them in probably over a year but they're perfect for a muddy/rainy/dirty party because they're already dirty! haha

I've got my whole Starscape outfit picked out =D

And I just bought 2 disposable cameras =D

Now if everyone would just hurry up and get down here, and if work will just fly by tomorrow.......it'll be time to party! =D
 
For the record: If there is anymore talk of renaming the event "Bluelightscape", I will not be in attendance.

Bringing some blankets so we have a place to sit... also bringing cameras of course and champagne for the hotel... also going to try to pick up some offskintastic so the mosquitos and shit dont bite us(we are near a bay of course)
My crew should be arriving late on friday night around 9-11ish Hope to c all of you tom and even more of you sat/sunday

Wow, I can't believe I am leaving tomorrow for this! I have looked forward to this for so long that it doesnt seem real yet!! Philly tomorrow for a HHCx party, then Starscape. I cant wait, I dont think I will be able to sleep tonight......=D
 
Am I really leaving in a matter of hours for this?!?!?? Now that the weekend is finally HERE, it doesn't seem real! Oh man I still have to pack tonight and get some sleep... eek!

nipples showing?.... why is that a bad thing? Well it should only take us about 4 hours to get there but we are still very excited to be there.... even if our hotel reservation plans falll through... more about that later........ we will def still be in attendance!

I'm meeting up with BL'ers at the hotel and going with them and they know people by sight..but not everyone. Hmmmm

Well uhhhh...since a lot of people are leaving soon I guess I'll just throw an idea out there in hopes they check this thread real quick before they leave :\

Umm how about midnight at that "grassy knoll" spot you seem to all love so much :p Though I can't really describe it because I *think* I know what spot you are talking about but I am not sure. Ummm I guess at midngith?? I really don't know :\ And if anyone who reads this can describe the elusive "grassy knoll" PLEASE DO!

Anyone who doesn't know people by sight and thinks they will have trouble finding others, you can e-mail me at [email protected] and I will give you my cell phone number. I'll be at work all day so I can't access BL from there but I can check my e-mail so, I'll try and help you out if I can.

Otherwise....the (night before Starscape) fun begins in.....less than 12 hours!!!!!! All I know is I plan to get thoroughly drunk this evening =D
 
I have specifically stayed away from this thread ever since they settled on the date - I'm a few hours from boarding a plane to Colorado for the weekend (family wedding) and have to miss this event - more importantly, I'll have to miss seeing all of you. I just didn't want to keep reading things that might depress me.

I ask that all of you stay safe, and look out for the newbies that may be overwhelmed - it is an incredible event. I hope you all have a great weekend, with plenty of friends new and old. Give each other a hug and a smile for me, and most of all enjoy yourselves. My only other request is that while you have the best time possible, don't burn out - because I will be making it in 2004 - just wait 'til next year (inside joke for Crow). Seriously, everyone have a memorable experience and be safe.
