STARSCAPE - Saturday, Sept. 27th 2003 - Baltimore, MD

i'm still really upset that i won't be able to make it to starscape this year. :( there are so many people going that i want to meet, and others that i haven't seen in way too long. i thought about fixing things so that i would be able to go, but there's just no way i'd be able to make it happen.

to everyone who's going: have a geat, safe time. i'm looking forward to reading all those post-party posts and seeing pics. and i WILL be at the next starscape. and hopefully this one will be in june like it used to be, and we'll only have to wait another 9 months.
 
Fuck, I have bad news. Randy Couture defeated Tito Ortiz after 5 rounds for the light-heavyweight championship in UFC tonight.

Anyways, I have to work at 8 in the morning, it's almost 3:30. Hopefully I'll be awake enough for this thing tomorrow night.:X

Well, lets see.....this is tough because poetry is my strong point - geography is certainly NOT. 8)

Hmmm....Philly to pick up Squeakerz, Mass to get Jon, CT to grab LinZ and Pkat, then on to NY to pile in on Ange and Dave.....love pile that is;) .

Who did I forget? Oh, the ever-illusive Sinthetic and ChaCha...you guys should be prepared for a kidnapping on the way to Ange and Dave's. I'll have to remember the duct taped sticky broom handle. Bet ya thought I forgot that, huh?

Jeez, I'll need to rent a mini-van for this event! =D

Anyway, back to the topic at hand before I get flamed -

I'm raiding my Jr. raver daughter's closet as we speak.....damned 16 year old's have the BEST clothes!

Now, for the attendees, if we can only FIND each other once inside before we are all retarded. I'll be with Eric, the WWE Rock lookalike wannabe and friends Carrie and Pat. I hope their bluelight initiation is memorable.

As for the forecasted rain.....:p I'll bring my Carebear hoodie....my daughter's actually... and pray it doesn't get destroyed with raver crud.

I haven't been to an "trance party", as they call them in Tokyo, since I left Japan earlier this year. I am really looking forward to being at StarScape. So damn close too! I was surprised that so many Bluelighters would be going to this....I can't wait!

I can feel the excitement rising in my chest......YEAH!

Party was great, had an awesome time. It's always a blast hanging out with all you people. I miss you already. I'm not naming names, because I'd probably forget someone, but special shout outs go to Michael, Spinkle and Yesterday for coming out the night before the party just to hang out at the hotel. The hotel party was the highlight of the weekend... a vacation isn't a vacation without being threatened to have the cops called at least once.

I don't know if you'll read this... but it was great to see Plurmonster/Dr.Gonzo and your client... sure wish we had some whippits. ;)

It was great seeing everyone at the Party and spending some good quality time the night before. A drunken Bluelight party on the catwalks of a motel till 330 in the morning is always great.
I wish we could have spent more time after the party but everyone had to go their own directions, so, until next time, be safe.

I am missing all of you and the party only ended about 8 and a half hours ago
 
Let me just say... everything this year fucking rocked... It's about 5pm sunday.. and I'm still not awake yet.. but I can't sleep either!

the party was kickarse! not nearly as good as SS '02, but I had a blast anyways! The hip hop tent did not ruin things as i thought it would. They actually had some cool shit, allthough I was not that impressed with LPC. The weather was purrrrrfect! I had a great time talking with people down by the waterfront, everyone had such good vibes and shit that night. I cant believe I ran into my friends from high school there, that was crazy, and even more so that one of them used to date the girl that stayed with Kasperboy (sorry hon i lack a memory). Frosty and Squeaks, your outfits were superb! As for djs, I looooved Green Velvet's set, I think i tore some ligaments in my legs dancing to that. Planet of the drums kicked ass for what i got to hear of it, and most importantly, for throwing in a sample from a SLAYER song!!! That was cool as shit. To all the new BLers that I met, keep in touch cuz you guys are da cool!

But not only was no one coming back to play with my friend and I :( dissapointing, but listen to this bullshit when I arrive home: Some cuntsluge decided it would be cool to superglue the lock to my door shut. :X I am quite pissed. I have been waiting for the locksmith to get here for 3 hours. Its still gonna take him like 2 freakin hours to unlock it (im in the comp lab at my school). Oi.

but yah SS '03 was well worth the trouble, and im glad i got to meet lotsa lotsa cool people!!!!!!!!! So, anyone wanna start an email list for SS '04?

I'm sitting here and I am still tingling all over while thinking of all the memories from this weekend. I wish there were words to really describe how wonderful this weekend was to me but, I can't even think of any that truly do justice to what this weekend meant to me. But I'll try. I have never, in my 21 years on this earth, had more fun than I did this weekend. And I mean that! It was just......amazing. Everything about it. From the pre-party Friday night at the hotel where I met so many of you Bluelighters....then hanging out all day Saturday.....then Starscape (which was by far the best party I have ever been to and it was ALL because of the amazing people I met. I didn't even pay attention to the music. There wasn't time....I wasn't able to.....I was too busy having fun with the most amazing people I have ever come in contact with).

I could go on.....and on.....but I'll go ahead and say my words to all of you that I met.

Melissa (Dancinxtcangel): Sweetheart you are absolutely wonderful! :D I am so glad we were finally able to meet and spend a whole weekend hanging out. You're a huge part of what made this weekend so amazing for me. I will definetly be coming up to Mass to visit soon (DJ Irene, November 1st!) and that will be the first of many visits until I finally move up there with you!!!!! =D **Yes, Melissa and I have discussed it more and if all things work out (as I imagine they will) we will be getting an apartment in Massachusetts (I don't know where yet) in May, or maybe sooner if we win the lottery or something ;) Right now we're busy saving money.** I'm so glad you crashed at my house with me, it was nice to have a buddy all weekend

Katie (Bdreligrrl): So wonderful to meet you! Thank you so much for letting us crash in your room after Starscape. It was wonderful to spend the majority of the weekend with you and Melissa. I couldn't have had a better time with you ladies!! We've got each others numbers and I really hope we stay in touch. When I go up to Mass I DEFINETLY want to hang out with you again! Even though we never really talked before, I liked you from the very beginning and you were definetly someone who contributed a lot to making this weekend so wonderful.

Dave (Top Rocka): We FINALLY meet! You're such an incredible guy, not like I didn't know that already, but you definetly confirmed it this weekend. I'm really glad you came down here for Starscape and I hope I get to see you soon when I come up to the New England area. No wait, scratch that, I will definetly see you when I come up there =D And even though you stole my camera and made me chase you through the crowd in the DnB tent, all is forgiven, and our pictures turned out great! They swore they weren't coming!!" then you walked by twice but I was too nervous to say hello. haha. But then Melissa called me from the car and I had Katie call Buzzy's cell so we could make sure to bump heads Chrissie is a knockout! And so sweet. Chrissie you were on of the people who despite the fact we've never talked, you've always intrigued me and I've really wanted to meet you. If I forgot anybody, I'm SO sorry!! I've gotten only minimal sleep this whole weekend so my brain is fuzzy from that.

Again an extra special shoutout to both Melissa and Katie for hanging out with me all weekend. I had SO much fun :) Leaving that hotel room at the end of tonight was hard to do :( I knew as soon as I closed that hotel room door that this weekend was "over" :( But I hope to see you both very soon!

This weekend was so amazing. I've looked at my pictures at least 10 times. I am uploading them in a few. I have to play with the Kodak disk program thing and make them all cute then I will have a picturetrail album set up for them.
