Sputnic

I've interacted with sputnic on chat, at various times, for the last year.
Always a pleasure, and may your next place be ideal.

sput seemed to be one of the few mods. that dident have an elitist disorder,he had all teh reason to all the time and stress he put into ODU he had a right to be on one of the highest horses.but he never was he always gave unbiased information and answerd questions to the best of his knowledge, hardley ever showing personal opinon unless the question called for it,i will truely miss him although i know that he is no longer in pain.sally and anyone else in ODU for that matter you guys know my AIM and e mail adress.RIPdan

Dan, you were a great guy, I really enjoyed talking to you. I was looking forward to meeting you someday... :(
Sally... if you need anyone, I will always be here, you have always been a good friend to me as well. I hope you can somehow overcome this.
You will be greatly missed by me Dan. RIP my friend

This sad news indeed. Although i didnt know him he is dead and that is sorry to hear. I can only pray that this sort of thing doesnt repeat itself around here.

The email from ODU has brought me back after many months away from Bluelight. I can still remember having some fun conversations around this time last year with Sputnic. I barely knew him, but he talked to me like we were old friends. He seemed like a great guy, and I feel for his family and all of you that knew him personally. Rest in peace brother.

philantropist, the word that catched my attention on ODU.
I didnt even know what it meant, I do know now. RIP sputnic.

this is so sad, i can't believe another tragedy has befallen bluelight.. sputnic was always friendly to me, and everybody i saw him speak to..
RIP
:(

Rest in Peace Dan. You were a great friend, and a great asset to ODU. Our community will sorely miss you! Everytime I open my buddylist on AIM I half expect to see you online. It just doesn't feel real... I'm glad I got the chance to meet you in person, even though we didn't get a chance to have a night of drug binging.... I know you're in a better place... Take care old friend.

Did you take the time to read the thread? We don't know what Dan's cause of death is at the moment. He suiffured from massive, extrordinary headaches for days at a time. His headaches may have been symptomatic of a condition that killed him; His doctor may have irresponsibly prescribed the medications Dan was on. Or, Dan may have overdosed, trying to dampen the pain.
In any event, I beleive his funeral is today in Maple Creek. I'm so sorry I can't be there to celebrate and pay my respects to a man who I was so interested in meeting. I'm sorry for not getting to know him better than I did.
