That's cool you grew up in Iowa. I'm a sucker for Corey Taylor. I love Slipknot, his solo stuff, and especially Stone Sour. CMFT.

Or it's about a song you love so much, words cannot express, it makes you whole, you feel it in your whole body, it captivates you.

It's essentially about not letting fear dictate how you live your life. I also feel that it really speaks to addiction and trying to make a conscious choice to overcome/battle it.

Tomb of the Mutilated has some great zingers

I don't really like their style, I prefer Death, or some Göteborg bands,
but their lyrics are just hilarious
