who is they? every call centre worker in india?
where are you getting this information? i'd venture to say it certainly wouldn't apply to the majority of call-centres, and that malpractices at the ones (if any) it DOES apply to, are certainly not confined to businesses in india. Internet sites do it every day.
Can you provide any links to verify these assertions, and no i don't want a link to a google search page that you have typed "india call-centres stolen information" on - YOU make the claims, YOU provide the sources.
in regards to indian employees "stealing" jobs from australian or other workers - i really cannot understand how it is possibly their fault (ie. the word steal implies deliberate intent, implying that they are knowingly fucking other people over). As pete_gasparino pointed out, the majority of india lives below the poverty line, so are you saying you begrudge these workers for accepting jobs which would be merely offered to someone else in india, if they weren't to take them. If it's anyone's "fault" it is the parent companies/employers of the people - NOT the employees who are doing just as you or i would and looking out for themselves by gaining employment offered in their country.
If work was outsourced to australia over the country of origin of the company in question, i'd be extremely interested to see whether you would refuse work from them on ethical grounds.
