first of all she's lighter so that dfference is probably gonna be bigger than 1/15th

secondly women have lesser of a chemical called mao in their brain and that's why they have more drugs (any drug) get into their brain and it is reduced slower also.

I think it's quite important they are on the same level.

Those two drugs will speed up the heart rate which may not be good for their older conditions. Just a precaution.
 
This thread is so sweet - I write here as a 50 year old father of two who regularly enjoys MDMA and various psychedelics - your concern and care for your elders is truly beautiful and inspiring.
 
Wow.....makes me realize how fucking cool my parents are.....

My Mom and Dad tried it a few times back in the early 80's X explosion. My grandma was a psychologist and it obviously was prettty big in the psychological communtiy

Ive never rolled w/ my parents and dont think i ever will but ive had some pretty good talks w/ them about it and they understand what its all about. My dad especially is all for legalization in the medical copmmunity

I used to smoke w/ my parents but i cant anymore due to my job and drug testing....

Cant really provide any more suggestions that havcent already been mentioned. But i think its really cool that they are open to this. I wanna second u being the first point of contact for them just in case they need someone to talk to.....to make them feel comfortable....

I suggest compiling lots of erowid.org info for them and make sure the fullly know what to expect, how it works and anything they really should know....

Also bringing along some xanax's or valiums would be a good idea just in case they dont like the high and just want to fall asleep and it go away.....

I dunno....just make sure they are fully informed....u might also wanna show them this thread and others here in BL

Ughh, no offence, but that's just stoopid. I realize that's against popular belief, but it's cool your open with your parents. But I haven't seen any older parents post. Anyone that would recommend drugs, especially ones of a highly illegal nature, is asking for disaster. They in no way should promote your use. Not less they're willing to post bail for you if something were to happen. I wouldn't, it's not a good thing to endorse. But then again, there are people that use sched 1 drugs with their kids, there are ppl thet kill their kids, there are people that let their kids live with them til they're 40. And there are parents that promote sex to their daughters and sons as well. I'm just not that type.

Props on the communication issue. Alls fine and dandy til someone gets cought, or has a medical issue. As we get older and maturer, we become more conservative and responsible, usually from experience. If you've ever spent a night in jail, you'd understand. Some people can handle it fine. It just made me physically sick to take my freedom away.

I wish them well. If ever you or anyone else were to experience what I feel, the serious side effects from my use you would never touch that stuff again. It's just not worth it.

I think what you've done is fantastic. I've done much similar things with my parents. I think whether or not a relationship gets trashy depends on what drugs one is doing with his or her parents. If I was smoking slamming some h or railing some white with my mom I think maybe then it'd be a little odd. . . I love smoking with my parents though and have given my mom mushrooms and offered her E before as well. It's not such a bad thing as long as it remains in a spiritual realm.

1 night in Jail isn't shit, try spending 2 x-mas and 2 new years in Jail, and that a snickers bar and some crackers is a very good girft for christams, given to you by a mercyfull church.

Well, what I still say to the Laws, I want then to go fuck themselves, their hipocrit way of trying to be above the law all the time.

You might bear in mind that this is exactly the kind of thing that the authorities zero in on. Maybe tell this kind of story as a hypothetical, or better yet, deliver it as pure fiction.

You don't understand your dealing with a drug that kills. You have 1 deficiency, and thats all it takes for a heart attack on X.

But go on, go ahead be my guest. Everyone treats this thread like it's the greatest. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I think the people that died would disagree with you if they could.

In New York, a medical examiner looked at the role ecstasy played in unnatural and accidental deaths. He reviewed 19,000 deaths. Of those, he found 22 which had ecstasy in their system and only two that had only ecstasy and nothing else in them. These two deaths occurred during a period in which the DEA records an estimated 110 million doses of ecstasy were consumed.

This is the second post I've found where you have put up misleading data. Get your facts right please... you're not reducing harm, you are criticizing peoples decisions.

I don't think you realize why people use mdma. The government over the years has brainwashed people into thinking that drugs are more dangerous, more addicting, and more negative than they really are. Nearly every drug has a side effect, and many drugs also interact negatively when combined with other drugs, such as alcohol. Many of those "ecstasy" deaths weren't deaths from ecstasy, but from people who combined it with alcohol, a huge no no.

People use substances to enlighten and enhance their lives. Kind of like how people exercise to become healthier... except I recently read about a study that showed that exercise actually induces oxidative stress.

What I mean to say is that there is often 2 sides of every decision you make. With the good comes the bad and you just have to accept that instead of abiding by dumb prohibition laws. Yes, this is just like Prohibition II.

If you've still got your panties in a bunch all I can say is that me and that guy from that "ecstasy rising" special are going to be rolling well into our old age, and we'll be damn healthy, so screw you.
 
Ya whatever. Took them 40 years to prove asbestos did anything. Now, the people that were 20, sure regret as all hell being exposed to it. And what happened? They all sit around on they're oxygen saying "Wish I didn't do that".

Ya know what I think about statistics? They can be altered. Propagated. My insurance company will charge you $100 extra a year cuz you drive a red car. Statistics say red car drivers drive faster than anyone else. But who's to say people that drive blue cars actually drive faster? Maybe there were just more speeders in the red group.
