Snoo v:5 - Springtime Snooing

Hard to find a snoo recently, trying my best to find some sort of positive to my situation right now.

Best snoo I can find is that living where I am now, it is only two minutes away from where I work, so can come home for lunch and only have to get out of bed 20 minute before I am due to start work.
 
^ yeah one of the biggest snoos for my last job was it only being 10 mins away. Mornings are always the hardest time of day, so anything that allows more time in bed is an excellent thing. Shame new job is an hour commute and 2 buses away, but on the plus side lots of time for reading..

Sunshine snoo. Turned a shit day into a not too bad one :) cider and Mr Ef helping too..
 
Similar weather / mood / ridiculous cock rock - based positive shift over here.

It's now less than 48 hours until I meet up with a sister I haven't seen in nearly 13 years, so that's pretty good. :)

Well done Mugabe on finding the little positive things in such a sad situation. It's a skill it took me nearly thirty years to learn, so you deserve respect for that.
 
ay I used to live 2 mins from the crappy hotel I worked in, which was a definite plus, especially on the lunch time thing

Shy bairns get nowt and telling a small white fib snoo! ;)

My virgin media services were cut off as I'm late paying my bill. First woman I spoke to demanded money I don't have before she put my services back on. I got 'cut off' when I was on hold when she was seeing if she could lower the amount. So I called back, and got through to a lad who had a very sexy voice, told him the situation, explained I needed the internet for work (well I do, I need the internet to FIND work) but that I really couldn't pay until Tuesday and promised to ring back up then. So he turned my services straight back on just until Tuesday, and agreed to only let me pay HALF of my bill ;) Kerchiiing!

It does mean I'll now only have 50 quid to live on for two weeks, but I can handle that.

So what is it your saving for? I defo mind you saying you were gonna stop wasting your cash on shite and tons of nights out so you could have some money together for something to do with the flat.
 
Na, she's gonna extend her mortgage & sack plans to get an extension on the house & a bigger kitchen in exchange for getting me the fuck out her house once & for all.

Aye I'm tryna save to show that I can actually go a month without spending every penny I've got & so I've got dough to furnish the flat when I eventually buy one. Basically tryna prove to myself (& my maw) that I can live on what I'd have left after paying a mortgage & bills. I can easily live on what I'd have left but I just seem incapable of not throwing money away constantly. Spent prolly close to £200 last weekend & didn't even do much as far as I can remember, apart from a pile of ching & a gig which I'd already paid for ages ago.
 
So when are you gonna start proving yourself then? :D

If it gets to mortgage time and you've no saved any money is the deal off?
 
I think he is just trying to prove that he will be able to manage living on his own when he doesn't have a constant back up that will always cover him when he is skint. Is harder than it seems, practicing before you have your own place is a good idea so it isn't such a shock and a hardship to pay the bills when you do get your place
 
Snoo was having a nice night out with a friend, walked to the chippy and then to the pub for a couple of drinks. Really surprised to have made this friend as we had never really been great friends at all at work, but she has been really helpful since I moved here and made the transition a lot easier. Still not easy though, but has been a lot better than I expected, mainly because of this new friend.
