Snoo v:5 - Springtime Snooing

no one close to me is involved with any 'debt recovery' agencies anymore. ok it'll take like 6 weeks to get the official letter. so relieved. hopefully never again. can start planning nice things without me having to pay for all of them now. i didn't mind this, as i wanted the debt gone ASAP, but the extra cash broadens horizons!

%)

One of my favourite tunes.

Nicely picked up on there :)

It is a cracking tune. Grace Slick's voice is amazing, and she's amazing herself, trying to sneak LSD into Nixon's tea when she was invited to the white house. Her plan was foiled at the last moment, and her invite was refused, or something like that. I forget the full story. It'll be on wiki. She was on the FBI thingy list for a while.

Listening to Marilyn Manson the now lol.

Now that's lost you the respect points you'd just gained. ;)

Grace Slick is /was pretty amazing, but especially back then. Looked fantastic, cool as fuck and intelligent too. Don't think she would've entertained a fumble with a Manc scamp though, somehow.

Never thought EADDs resident ned would admit to going to see Marilyn Manson. :p

Do thyself a favour - fuck that Manson off and listen to Ministry and Killing Joke, which is where he got half of his ideas from.

None of the silly cartoon 'Satanism' either.

EDIT: Just remembered the contents of my profile. Hypocrisy is a bad thing.

Hahaha, a surprising amount of my mates will admit to liking the odd Marilyn Manson tune.

Just started making a playlist, so far it contains BRMC, Lethal Bizzle, Roots Manuva, Kano, Talib Kweli, Saigon & Ray Charles lol.

I tend to listen to the same hip hop or techno all the time. Decided to just keep looking down the list of tunes & listen to a lot of stuff I've not heard for a while, still couldn't help gettin Kweli, Saigon & Roots Manuva in there though.

guilty for liking Manson, especially when younger, not as much as Korn though %)

I went to see Manson in Brum once, I loved it, he put on a proper performance. And I was wearing an outfit I have created myself involving several pairs of fishnet tights and a PVC mini skirt :D haha. Started re-reading his autobiography earler and I don't care if it's all self-absorbed, over dramatic nonsense - it's a good read! ;)

Aye I saw Manson at Download back in 2007, he had a ridiculous amount of outfit changes but he was pretty decent. Probably like one of three bands I saw that weekend.

Snoo is sunshine and ducks on me lawn :D That sounds rude. Also girlstuff going really well, obviously she will turn out to be mental or a man or maybe both but until then...

I actually think I saw him many years ago at Gig on the Green festival in Glasgow, I can't quite remember tbh so he musn't have left that good an impression.

I popped out to my local shop earlier, and when I was waiting for my card to be put through, a punjabi woman came in, and started talking to the shop keeper in Punjabi, and he was having some happy banter with her, saying could you speak English, I don't speak Punjab, I'm from the Kashmir, yet she still kept babbling on. The woman behind me started smiling and said to me , it sounds beautiful doesn't it. The shop keeper was still smiling at her saying, I can't understand you woman, but she kept babbling with a smile on her face. She clearly understood English and was just winding him on.

It was all in good jest, made me smile.

Before that, a Jamaican woman came in, and was looking for redbull, to go with her Rum (Odd combination) she couldn't find it and kept saying 'Where is it man, you making me blind!', even though it was right in front of her face. We all had a good giggle about that too. She also bought 4 bottles of Dragon Stout. Good choices, apart from the Redbull and Rum!]

Oh, and the sun has found his hat, and yesterday's anxiety that literally crippled me has gone!

Missing the point, methinks. He wears his influences on his sleeve - I liked most of 'em before he released owt and still do. The Church of Satan is meant to be a joke - did ya not get it? ;)

Blinding tunes, intelligent lyrics, great live show - don't see what there is to dislike other than that innate urge to dislike mainstream success (I suffer from that too usually ;)). Man's a legend <3

His autobiography is also a great read. Such things are kinda meant to be self-indulgent, Effie ;)

Who amongst us can argue with Irresponsible Hate Anthem or Cake & Sodomy? <3

JCP snoo,

Had an appointment I made with the JC today. Turns out the woman who gave me the appointment is the one that does all the return to work meetings. She knows EVERYONE it seems. She totally hooked me up with 3 personal contacts. One who can sort everything out for me from UNI to funding and training either volunteer or paid! WOOT WOOT.

Then she gave me another contact for a chap at the UNI and a lady for paid and non paid work in the sector I'm trying to train for. I hit the mother load today so I'm fairly chuffed.

Hopefully I'll be on my way to better days soon. WOohoo

Glade snoo!

got my shifts today, Thrusday and Friday so get the rest of the festival to do whatever, sweet %)
