My snoo is yesterday. Totally awesome ANZAC day. Up for a 10.30am kick off for the Australian Rules football. My team Essendon won. Then Ranger's won the semi. Went off to Firhill to see the Partick Thistle game which ended in a 90th penalty that was right in front of me. 'mon the Jags. Few beers at various places in the West End, then ended my ANZAC day in the Walkabout (unsurprisingly), picked up with several birds and don't really remember getting home. Was a good 16 hour session or so
 
Just got picked for Old Bristolians 3rd XI!

Haven't been to any training sessions and not even played for the 4th team, but they're a player short for Saturday and my friend in the 2nd XI (a 1st or 2nd ringer would have played if they didn't have a match as well) told them my previous club history and I got the call about 2 hours ago :D

Played against this team when I was only 15/16 playing on my dad's team countless times. Time to prove myself ^^
 
I got onto my MA. I suppose it's snoo, I don't feel very snooy about it though, not sure why.
 
Because you'll have to leave sunny Yorkshire, that's why ;) Seriously, congrats though that is ace.

Edit: Snoo for today! Brought a new pony into the yard, he's the most gorgeous thing ever. Four years old I think, not sure what breed. Really ginger with a blonde mane and lovely eyelashes. Friendliest thing ever too, didn't think he would be because he's been out in fields for the past few years. Sad that he'll be going again soon though.

Well its a japanese studies MA, but my major is japanese society and culture, will also take language and probably the japanese cinema module. When I think about that its quite snooy.
 
Sounds like a cool course to me.

What do you plan to do with it once you finish?

Nice on wibbs. I might go to uni in Japan, want to visit it first though, otherwise its UCL's international campus in Malaysia or shitty England.

Aww Wibs, can't believe I missed this earlier...so excited for you. Perfect subject, can't wait to ramble on about Japanese things with you <3 Keep asking my boss about sending me on a transfer programme with Jap gov. We hosted them - it's surely my turn now :!

Snoo for me today is being spoilt by friends :)

Cricket was wicked today :D feels great to be back in my element ;)

We travelled to Midsummer Norton, racing along loads of lovely county roads, with only 9 players in our team thinking we're going to get trounced as MSN were supposed to be promoted this season but asked to stay where they are because a load of players were off to uni so they'd struggle to get enough players each week.

Now, its first game of the season so the captain doesn't know who's the best bowler and no one wants to step up to open the bowling. Of course I decided too. First game in 3 years and thus my first adults game over the age of 18 so didn't have any restrictions and I could bowl the full 8 overs in one spell.
8 overs, 3 maidens, 1 wicket, 13 runs. Great debut if you ask me :D:D:D
Batted 8th and got 3, not out.

Made loads of new friends and the traditional pint of cider with our lunch definitely applies too all west country teams which was a nice welcome back :D

Oh, we won by 81 runs with 2 players short :p
