New job offer snoo today.

Minding my own business decorating round the house & out of the blue, I get a phone call from my old project manager offering me a job because the old team has got back together. You fucking beauty, because the timing is perfect as the job I have just now has cut back on the hours.

More money, back doing what I know best & back with a lot of known faces. Happy as fuck. :D

Finally beating that smarmy bastard Noel Edmonds on the Deal or No Deal machine. Finally got through to the final game and won the jackpot of £20.

First and only time I played it I won £20, was a gamble at the end between £2 and £20 and my wido cunt of a mate reaches over and presses the screen before I can even asses the situation.

I've decided I actually believe in Karma.

I've been finding money recently, and given it back to people. Found 12 quid next to a boot on floor at waveform, I asked some people about if they'd lost money, and it turned out to be a girl who was sat right next to it, who said she kept her money in her boot, but as I found it, I could keep it, but I gave her it back. Then found 100 quid at a free party with a lads ID card, looked up and he was stood nearby, so I gave him it back. Found a lads phone (same boy i'd been sat smoking DMT with on Friday night, then he lost his stash, I felt extra bad for that) and my friends keys on Friday night too.

On Friday I found out I've been awarded a 730 quid grant that they give to people who have been recently homeless or have left prison or supported accommodation to help them set themselves back up in the community once they have been re-housed.

I never ever expected to get that much, it was my support worker made the application. It now means I can put some carpets down and actually afford a washing machine, oven, microwave, pots and pans curtains and other things that are pretty essential, as at the moment I have three bags of clothes!

Nice one but will £730 get you carpets, washing machine, oven, microwave etc? Most of that stuff will be expensive no?
 
Yeps, with some left over. Most of the stuff will be coming from Freecycle or second hand. :) Or just being thrifty and careful with my choices. Ikea will come in handy.

I got a perfectly decent fridge freezer from freecycle a week ago.

I've already priced up the carpets and found one for 6 quid per square metre. So 60 quid for living room, and 120 for bedroom. I'm fitting it myself.
 
Hi ^ thats brill but i'd be wary of fitting it yourself. Its not always that easy to doand to me nothing looks worse than a badly fitted carpet, plus it's quite annoying to live with. If you can i'd put some of your budget aside to pay someone to do it, if you ask around and get someone to do it as a foreigner it won't cost much.
 
You think just like me I was in two minds if I should pay someone or do it myself. I was wanting to do it myself, but then I thought if it looks shit, you'll have to look at it every time you're sat down and it'll irritate me.

I'm not even gonna skimp and do without underlay either. Carpet will last longer that way.

I'll ask around, someone always knows someone. It's the sort of things somebody would do for cash in back pocket quick few hours work job.

A couple of snoos recently :)

My dad phoned the other day and told me that he had bought tickets for the both of us to go to the UK Snooker Championships in Telford in December. I thought he just meant for one match, hopefully the final, but he bought tickets for the whole week =D Really excited about it, have always wanted to be in the crowd at a major snooker championship, we are two rows from the front too. :D

Also on my way back from the doctors today I passed the allotments, I asked one of the men on his allotment how to get on the waiting list and he told me, so I went and put my name on the waiting list, will probably take about a year. I had to ask if there was a minimum age to go on the waiting list and she said she didn't know. Then she asked my age and was surprised when I said I was 24, apparently I looked about 6 years younger, lol.

Dunno if this is quite correct. But my 'snoo' for today is, well, i was expecting a sample of some aMT from a vendor (i was expecting 50mg) and they sent me 100mg instead. A very happy Kyle ensues. Should be a nice weekend x
