My dad just rang me out of the blue, first time in 6 months! He rang me once when he was over gigging in France, but he was just as fucked as I was so we made little sense to each other so it didn't count.

He's made my night. Phone call ended a bit ealier than i'd have liked as his mobile is about 6 years old and breaking,he said he'd call again tomorrow. But.....=D = my face.
 
Just found out I get to drive down and go see my pal next weekend!!!! SCORE! I'm so excited and happy. I need a break outta here and a nice little holiday. I can't wait!

That's quite a snoo and revelation I feel <3 Ok feel free to chastise me, but my intent is all good...

Good snoo's for me at the end of the working week - my brain started to work again :D and I've been spending a lot more time with RL friends and doing stuff. Pretty chuffed about all that %)

It was a proper revelation yes :)

I've always been crap at letting friends in, only letting them in so far. I've found out just how many mates I actually do have the past couple of days, wonderful all of them :) I'm a bit of a mess just at the moment, but I'll pull myself together soon. I'm giving myself the weekend, and i'll have a grip of myself by Monday. Stuff to do. Times they are a changing.
 
Was just in a shop in town, and the boy behind the counter asked me 'Why the king of clubs in the ID slot in your purse' and I explained to him that I have a habit of finding solo playing cards in the street, and when I do I always pick them up, and afterwards something good happens. It made him smile, and cheered me up after a difficult afternoon. :)

Always solo playing cards, I seem to always find them. One day I might get a full pack! I've got about 15 so far.
