Strip search. I've been to a few underage raves where they took underages into the search tents without any parents present.

Any of the searched people feel like being a martyr to a cause?
If you've made it known your < 18, or alternatively police are at an event which has age restrictions, I'd say there is a fair case to get police in a whole lot of trouble.

They usually check ID as well, so they would have known their age. I (nor anyone else it seemed) knew that police weren't allowed to strip search underages. I'll have to step in and remind them next time I see it happening haha

Well they're not allowed to without a parent/guardian present.
Was in a raid 17 years ago when I was under 16, and the cops took us one by one and stripped searched us. They found cannabis in a draw in the kitchen, but when it went to court it was thrown out as we were illegally searched.

The point made in this video is exactly the point i made earlyer in this thread. No matter how many baggies you put stuff in, and how much curry you put around it, the dog can smell your stash

The point has been made 30+ times. If people chooce not to listen to information that is correct, they can have fun getting caught by the dogs

okay so im starting to get confused and have my doubts,
at perth summadayze a dog was walking and sniffing all around me but didnt stop for me, i had my baggie in my bra.
at recent camping festival i had a stick, grinder and stem all in my luggage and another dog walked right past me in the line.
both times they were labs im pretty sure, though they didn't look fully grown :S

Exactly, don't get cocky and think you're safe. That'll be a sure way to get caught! Be safe, take precautions, but in the end it is still a gamble if you try to take something into an event/club.

You'll never know the following
1) What the dogs had been trained to do. For all you know, they may have been trained to sniff explosives and just there to scare the crap out of people. After all, deterent is important.
2) If they were drug dogs, you'll never know what drugs they'd been trained on. Not all dogs are trained on all drugs.
3) the video posted earlier pointed out the fact that a dog can get a little "burnt out". I.E. If they've copped a huge whiff of something earlier, they may struggle to pick the subtleties of what you're carrying.
4) There's a lot of people entering festivals - and a lot of confusing smells. It's not just the dog, but handler watching your reaction that matter.
To summarise - Don't get complacent, don't get scared, act natural, use precautions listed in this thread and you should be ok.

It sure is pacman. It helps to have someone who has been there and knows what he is talking about say it how it really is, not how he heard it from a friend of a friend.

Hey, I'm just wondering the consequences if you get caught with small perso levels of illigal drugs, say a few joints, or a tab or some pills for example.
Is it different for each state? Are the outcomes different for each drug, especially with things like weed, kicked out of the event or just a hefty fine?
Mainly wondering because I wonna bring a few small spliffs with me to my next event but I don't really wont to risk not getting let in or getting kick out over something as trivial as weed.

That would fukn suck! Dont take it in. Let the unsmart people take the drugs in. Its not worth saving a few dollars for gettin caught.
well, if ur in nsw, you simply get a caution. No big deal.
Although, if your hands are clean and you haven't smoked , keep them in an air tight container like a romeo y julieta cigar tube, not at groin or pocket level, then I seriously doubt the dogs will smell anything.

You prob could altho its a bit of a bitch. Long long time ago was traveling with a mate on a bus he had a large quantity on him, smelt so bad and was wrapped up in baggies and foil a few times.
Actually the whole bus reeked of weed. Pretty sure some people recognized the smell lol Even a few grams smells if not concealed properly.
