Sniffer dogs

It wouldn't necessarily be hard, it would just be very out of the norm. The polie generally only train dogs for the most popular drugs because it equates to more busts for them.

Off the top of my head the main drugs dogs are trained to detect are Heroin, Amphetamines, Marijuana, Cocaine and MDMA. They are the main staples, but there have been knows to be variations.

None of this crap about coffee beans or deoderant or any other odour masking technique is right either. All bullshit that gets passed around by friends. There is no sure way to get them through, even if you do it carefully. You simply get lucky. That's all.

This man is right, dogs sniffing methods are different.
Watch Never Get Busted, and the guy in there explains how he knows it works.

And a few months ago i walked past a sniffer dog with 1g of some bud, the dog didn't stop or do anything, i just kept on walking and it was fine.
I was scared shitless though.

I've only had a sniffer dog pick up a sent on me once, ironically that was before I took drugs lol. Scary shit though getting searched, was nervous for no reason, real worried someone might have put something in my pocket.

Watching that show on Buttrose, interesting to note just how many vacuum sealed bags he had, and the fact the sniffer dog didn't smell them (they were up high too).

^ I also found that interesting, I have read of people using hats as a good place because it is high up from the dogs and it was definately a good hiding place he used. Unlucky for him they found it anyway.

Usually when I walk into an event and i'm wearing a hat, it almost certainly gets searched. Same thing happens with other people I see wearing hats too :(

I don't remember who it was but there was a guy on here reckoned pinning stuff inside his hat got him by the dogs a few times. I have never done it myself, actually have no personaly experience with sniffer dogs that I can recall, thank fuck.

I put my stuff in a water bomb and then a waterbomb over that waterbomb and then a waterbomb over the other water bomb and do that as many times as i can, constantly washing my hands.... been sniffed before and all sweet...

I doubt that. If they stop u then thatd be the first place they would look. He must of been lucky gettin past without gettin picked up. The dog usually gives an indication and the police do a thorough search. Id put it down to pure luck.

A friend purchased a plastic tube large enough to fit a blunt which claimed if washed properly it could stop the release of smells. I am very doubtful of this claim, does anyone here have any knowledge of this product and whether it offers and protection?

I don't think they are trained for ketamine, but I'm not sure. At the very least, it would probably be rare that they are trained to sniff it out.

I am pretty sure it isn't standard practise to have dogs trained to sniff out ketamine, but I equally imagine that it could be done rather easily if they wanted to.

I have heard that a lot of the time they use untrained dogs and the officers guage individuals reactions to the dogs, as opposed to the dogs actually detecting drugs. Assuming this is true I would imagine it is a very rare case indeed that drug sniffing dogs were trained to sniff less mainstram substances, like ketamine.

What Mr_Blonde and D_M said.
I've never heard of a dog sniffing out for Ketamine, but imagine it would be no harder to train for if they so choose to train them. But ultimately I doubt it would be cost efficient for them to do so.

Dogs have a keen sense of smell that is a thousand times more sensitive than that of humans. They can smell the tiniest amounts of ANYTHING that as an odor. But sniffer dogs are only trained to "alert" their handlers when they detect a SPECIFIC odor. They are not trained to alert to any and all drugs. I'm not aware of dogs being trained to detect ketamine.

They dont react to Ketamine unless they are trained to detect it and most dogs arnt but that doesnt mean ur relatively safe.
