Today, I am sober. Had a completely clean test last week. Someone has changed my life in more ways than they may ever know.

yeah reach for the stars... I think i have endured this existence for the benefit of being able to think on my own thoughts eight hours a day.. I guess i didn't follow the supposed rule of an addict staying out of their head.. and i apparently had a few things to work out.. but anyway I have outgrown the place where I am at.. so up up and away..

The good part of my day was realizing its time to push forward for a bit..
 
I reconnected with an old boss today...

Quick back story, last time I saw this guy I, wrongly I admit, got a pay advance and didn't talk to him for like five months.

Spoke with him today and he said "Tell you what, you don't owe me anything, we're even. Just come to work for me tomorrow."

I'm moving this weekend, but I'll have a few extra hundred to take along, which is gonna make it alot easier. :)
 
Reconnected for like 12 hours with an old friend who's recently been shown a form of "light" regarding sobriety. Much of that has been passed to me over the night and into the morning.

Called out of work in favor of hitting a 7 AM meeting this morning. For which I'm tremendously excited. T minus 1 hour.
 
Zumba sounds awesome. You'll have to comment on how it was. I would like to go but I'm not sure I'd like it. :sus:

Oh I love it haha! You not only dance but you also sweat a lot. Our zumba instructor is so intense so there's no way you're gonna get an easy workout.

I miss my bf :( You're lucky he is around. I won't see my bf til December.
 
I got a new job. More money, better company, better benefits, less stress, less hours.... Handing in my resignation felt so good. My boss is happy for me and gave me a hug.
