Rolling and driving messes with heads.....

Sadly, I think he is. Let's all give him a round of applause... 8( Sorry lorenzo, but boasting about how fast you can go in your car isn't going to win you any friends around here. The more people do this, the increased liklihood of an innocent person being killed. Yes, even on "deserted" roads. There's always a possibility; and at the very least you're taking your own life into your hands. I just don't get it... at all.

U think i'm joking? Aight... next time u on the coast, why don't u ride me me and my crew, u may be horrified i dunno 8o.

BTW I do give a shit about my life, and i'm sure my friends care about themselves as much, just that sometimes when u fucked up you are less inclined to think about it :\, which is a bad thing i know.

But what i am certain about is taking calculated risks, not unnessary ones. I'm a fucking law student, and if i did hurt/kill someone, my future career would go down the drain. Thats why i like to speed on the highway, with no pedestrians around, and with little cars around. So the only consequences are the ones I inflict upon myself and ensure that i don't harm others.

How bout you and your 'crew' go and drive your "big" cars straight into one another... oh and make sure there is no little cars around when you do it!!

Well I have honours in mechanical engineering and trust me, the things that you don't think of are the ones that go wrong.
You think the original poster though about the chances of crashing into a wall if he loses control?

lorenzo: I probably would be horrified. No wait, I wouldn't, because nothing on god's green earth would make me get in a car with someone who was fucked up/likely to speed.

You could give me a million dollars I still wouldn't do it. My uncle is on the Road Traffic Accident squad and the things he's told me he's seen give me shivers up my spine.

I just urge you to think a little bit that's all.

You can see into the future can you? You know when a car is going to pull out? When a bike rider might be on the side of the road (and of course you can see in the dark too).

Here's hoping Darwin's not so kind on you.

Hey, if he dies - one fewer law graduate! What's the downside?

I'm being facetious of course but this sort of behaviour deserves nothing but contempt.

You call driving at 160km/h on MDMA a calculated risk?

You're either stupid or experiencing a serious case of denial. Displaying this level of totally senseless irresponsibility gives drug users everywhere a bad name.

Lorenzo_benzo you and your mates are idiots. It makes it worse that you think your not. Stick to the playstation.8)

I can think of far more appropriate names than idiots.

Get a fucking clue... as others have said, you don't know the time one of those 'little cars' on the road will pop up in front of you. I don't care how experienced a driver you think you are, what you have posted here displays blatant stupidity and disrespect for your responsibilities as a driver.

BTW I do give a shit about my life, and i'm sure my friends care about themselves as much, just that sometimes when u fucked up you are less inclined to think about it

Please, hide your keys next time you're fucked up if you can't make a responsible decision.

Please take care of yourself :\

*apologies if anything thinks this is harsh, but it's something I feel pretty strongly about*

You should find smarter friends. It speaks poorly of you that you let them drive in the first place. I hope you and your mates learned something from this.

i didnt know they had gone for a drive untill we got the phone call. And im pretty damn sure we all learned our lession....

that's why he's posting it i guess, to make some people realise how dangerous it is. i know so many people that roll and drive and i just wish it didnt have to come to them almost losing thier lives to make them stop.

thanks chrisisparanoid that is why i did post this i cant even stand being in the car when people are doing stupid stuff any more straigh or not to many crash scares....

But... I'm sure that BestA has learned his/her lesson from getting into a car with even friends that are intoxicated. If not, then BestA, you should re-consider your place here as a human on planet Earth, because it is a very "in-human" thing to do, to have intentions of going out onto the roads whilst under the influence of any substance.

I didnt get in the car i wouldnt have i like to think im a bit smarter then that but as i said i didnt know they left untill we got the call to come pic one of them up...

However 160km is nothing, especially when u rolling hard, and not thinking straight..... Thats why i like to speed on the highway, with no pedestrians around, and with little cars around. So the only consequences are the ones I inflict upon myself and ensure that i don't harm others.

lorenzo u fuking dumbass :X this thread was wasted on you! And what the highways in your area dont have any one else on them??

thank you to every one else who is smart enough to see the real point i posted this thread!

i would call 'fully come down' when the effects of the drug have worn off completely, and yeah its true that your quite fatigued and scattered at this point, but i usually feel very restless and can fully concentrate on driving, it gives me something to focus on. the comparison of 0.05 BAC is probably accurate, your slightly impaired but not so much as to be any great risk, if you dont drive like a moron of course...

mind you i dont encourage other people to do the same, but i wont lie i do it anyway...

Driving at 6am n the morning having not slept is dangerous if you haven't taken any drugs. DeSpite -- there are studies on MDMA and driving after sleep deprivation which show that people's driving ability is worse than sleep deprived groups that have not had drugs both when they are high and after they have come down.

I been lucky on various occasions, due to me and my friends speeding in excess of 160km. Too bad we don't take out the better cars (gtr-33s, gts-34s. gtos, wrx) when we go out as they attract to much attention, and the police are more than to search the cars on reasonable suspicion (we always smoking j's when we rollin and driving) and break hard when we see white commodores on the side of the road.

One time we were going over 260-270km in a GTO ( couldn't tell as was pushed back in the passenger seat), just because we was tweaked up and wanted to go back as fast as possible to bong up, and take xanaxs. BTW this was on the pacific highway... damn too bad i don't have my car up in QLD.

Bogan alert !
I thought they were a dying breed ?
And it seems they have swapped bundaburg rum for pills...
Great - loved up bogans...

yeah this seems have degraded into a bogan version of our common "I take more drugs than you" debate, now we have a "I go faster in my car than you _PLUS_ I take more drugs at the same time" !!
Scary but amusing.

Im sorry if my comment earlier caused unnecesary offence but I was (and still am) amazed at the disrespect people have for those around them (and themselves !) when it comes to driving under the influence.

@ Dr. BeatI'm not a fucking bogan... i don't drink alcohol! I just pop pills, smoke and trip. Just because i'm from QLD don't mean u can assume that i drink bunderberg rum, and swap it for pills. If i want pills, i get pills. See drinking and driving is illegal, and i oppose that, and don't wanna lose my license. Got 5 months till i get my full license

@ aunty establishment - u know whats funny.... hopefully one day i'll get back at u, cause when i graduate i'm joining the DPP, and hope to prosecute u to the maxium extent of the law for ur drug poession etc. There will always be lawyers around, but most of them are fuckhead law obiding boring assholes.

@ mongman and everyone else - u all acting like saints... all of u can honestly tell me on this forum that none of you guys/gals have ever driven under the influence, or have driven over the speed limit. U know in Victoria, driving 2 ks over the limit is speeding? So what if i drive nearly 2 times over the legal speed limit. Speeding is speeding!

@ BestA - ur the fuckwit, u ever heard of the pacific highway, and bremuda street??? What the fuck, the roads are always deserted after 4-6am on saturday/sunday mornings. Tell me who the fuck is going to walk on the highway, or let alone, another driver get in the way of me or my friends?

lorenzo - i have tried to refrain posting in this thread, but your blatant ignorance of what everyone is trying to tell me is making me wonder if maybe your super speeding in your fully sick super cars has somehow damaged your brain and possibly that of your "crew" as well.. (crew?? what.. you are a professional race driver and have a pit crew? please enlighten me, what is a crew? we who have friends call those people who hang around us "friends")

seriously mate, you can have a nice car, but there is no need to put the lives of others in danger in doing so. use street meets if you want to race...

i've had nice cars all my life... i've had fast cars all my life... i've learned from the mistakes of others and learned that speed limits are there for a reason.... when you are a passenger in a car doing 110km sideways into a lightpost, you learn...

when you have two of your mates die in the same car crash when you are supposed to be celebrating finishing year twelve & they go doing 160km hr into a parked van, spinning themselves into a tree you certainly learn...

when one of your mates speeds head on into the oncoming path of a bus, decapitates himself and leaves his girlfriend pinned in the car, next to his headless body, you very much learn......

so lorenzo, learn to be responsible with your cars, otherwise, i hope you end up in a crash, where maybe afterwards, you can see how fast you can get your wheelchair going... or even better, lets see how you live with the guilt of killing someone...

and please dont try responding to me by calling me a fuckwit like you have everyone else.... cause at the moment, it looks like its about 28 people against you in this thread alone...

or maybe you can get your crew??? oh wait, they are probably changing michael schumacher's tires.....

sorry Muzby for insulting u, and every else who has some respect for me but don't like what i do... to tell u the truth, i go to a prestigious university, where people have money and don't give shit about the law. U know the private one in surfers, my friends are all from overseas, they got money, and a desire to speed like they do in their own countries. Somehow its rubbed off on me, they are a bad influence, but i like fast cars, and driving fast. I know its not a good combination on open roads, and i wish i could drive a f1 like schumacher, or even rally. But i can't, i don't have that opportunity + mixed with amphetamines sometimes i don't care and feel invincible (ice). I dunno, its just a regret that i pretent to be something that im not and am just merely a law student...

again i apologise and will be careful not to speed like i have done in the past. BTW u know when i was 18, i totaled my WRX, doing 170km, it was a small hill on a straight, i lost traction and rolled the car. A couple of months ago, we were drifting on the mountains, my friend lost control of his 180sx, and rolled it off a 4 meter cliff edge, and totaled his car. Sadly neither me or my friends learn, we just ignorant... we been in how many accidents, and near accidents where death was close. I gotta control myself, and not drive, but the problem is that most of the time im on amphetamines (dex) or when going out e, ice, speed etc. Maybe i should quit, or not drive, and we can't designate a safe driver cause all my friends are into this shit and drive fast. So its a lose lose situation. Who do you trust more yourself or ur friends?
