When/where were BL meet-ups infiltrated?
Honestly I don't know but I think one meet up atleast was infiltrated in 2005 or there abouts, remmeber reading about it as a warning when I was new to the site in 08'. Apparently BL used to be more tolerant. Now I find talk about price discussions rediculous ( I have a thread called cannabis and terroir) were I had a link to a high times with prices for cannabis from the 70s and I posted from the 80s...I was told "I don't care if it was yesterday or 40 years ago price dissucssion isn't allowed.). Actaully this was in the lounge in all fairness which is a violation of their rules, which earned me a infraction...cannabis forum is more tolerant. My post had to do with classic landrace starins and the effect of climate, soils, ect...analogous to the concept of French wine and appelations and has some good links(or California AVA's).
. I researched it at length. I'll post my opium thread when i find it (if it hasn't been relegated to archives- the dustbins of BL history
At any rate I digress, but I've heard that sited in the past. The Hive which has snapshots that live on through Rhodium was taken down and its founder, a man from texas that was an MDMA chemist (and author of a landmark book on the issue) Hobart Houston or something like this, i think, was tracked down by CBS news and served a prison sentece. Others followed suit (there is a story of a florida cook that got a heavy handed sentence handed down by the US district atorney in their archives.) I think that's partly what their rules are based on- adjusted continent to continent based on the degree of free speach and tolerance.
But anyway, I thouroughly enjoyed your stories. I was not part of any rock scene but in my 20s was part of the clubbing/ San Diego underworld which were full of beautiful girls and E. Heroin was strating to make a presence in the methamphetamine saturated scene. Coke and Heroin actually had a subculture in affluent La Joja (a Beverly Hills by the beach) and mission beach back then full of 20 somethings that had either graduated college and were hanging out or were working in the tourists trade, but anyway lots of beach people...kinda like a ghetto by the beach for working class californians and people from across the US and, Brazil, and Europe. In the early- mid 90s it was off the hook. Not quite Ibiza like (because it had a permanet population), but there was a party every night were alcohol, E, coke, and meth, were prevalent. Lots of hot refreshingly down to earth girls (there was so many, they couldn't afford to be stuck up.) Thats the scene were I hooked up with my now wife, an I was young enough that gear didn't fuck up my sex drive too much (though methamphetamine is a cure for that and heroin + bezos mitigate amphetamine psychosis). That unique place is gone, the units turned into vacation rentals. Anyway, there was a small circle of junkies there, too. It was probaly like a poor mans seppo version of Ibiza, but with more permanent residents.
We just had an electrical blackout throught San Diego, part of Orange County, Arizona, and Mexico down to Encinada. Some dude apparently litteraly pressed the wrong button- My hospital has 4 generators, only 1 came on.

So there was mayhem...but they restored partial power (generator 2 before we had to ambubag ventilated patients.)
Anyway, a love your stories...
It was from folks like Thunders I first appreciated the incredible phenomenon of celebrity. When incredibly hot women of impeccable lineage permit scrawny junkies to do unspeakable things to them just for an introduction
I love hearing stories like that...infact you write some entertaining stories amongst your inciteful posting.
Nowadays, of course, about the most exciting person I meet is the milkman. Oh, but I was young once....
...atleast you have a milkman...i have to go to the store to get milk...my daughters drug of choice....milkman went the way of the dinousaur in this country in the 80s.
But in the 90s I had a dope man delivering to my door even though "veinte minutos" usually ment 2-3 hours, i hear now they have improved customer service. In Ohio you got a manager that follows up with a call- I hear they give you a free bag if they take more than 30 minutes to get their- they give you a free bag- or they were doing that a year ago per bluelight. Anyway hope all is going well on your side of the pond. Keep those stories comming. I actually got a responce or 2 on my Platzspiz post...not much but that was cool. Gonna update it...don't know where to post cocaine maintenance conisdersation or my long but insightful article comparing the British, Swiss, and US (squashed) models of heroin maintenance and harm reduction... its kinda a long read.
Anyway "life suspended and other posts are fucking tight"... keep them comming my friend.
