He's supposed to look like a fucking clown. He uses the word weapon meaning good as well haha. Round here weapon is another word for wanker/arsehole etc ie "Get tae fuck ya weapon!" (not something I say myself right enough, but not uncommon).

The trailer for that film came on when we were getting a drink before going out on Saturday, I remember laughing & saying how shite it looked lol. I think the addition of 50 Cent swayed my opinion slightly.

Btw - You should watch Nathan Barley. I think it's still on 4od. It's fucking brilliant.

"The Illusionist" is on Film4 right now - Cracking film.
I also watched "Martyrs" the other day and it's fucking shocking but really amazing:

Honestly, those of a weak disposition and genereal ultra-violence should maybe avoid it.. But it is fucking great.

I've watched a couple of films that have been dubbed "New French Extremity" ("À l'interieur" aka. "Inside" being another) and there's some great films, though harsh harsh harsh, coming out of France in the past few years.
There's been somewhat a revival in Horror these days actually.

Mostanoodle, im glad you just posted that. My mate lent me a pile of dvds a few months ago, which i had forgotten about until now, one of them is Martyrs. Going to watch it right now infact.

Martyrs is an interesting watch...There is another French film by Gaspar Noe(Irreversible,Enter the void) I saw that I couldnt even finish.Its called I stand alone(Seul contre tous )

I think I'm one of the few people that didn't think much of Martyrs - it was ok, I'm not quite sure why it's been so hyped though.
