Aha, aye man it seemed a bit weird the comment didn't seem to fit Cocaine Cowboys at all. Quote things, or give a ref. as to what you're talking about man.

You're right, I think Ichi The Killer is actually quite funny from what I can remember it's just that suspension/hot oil thing that's stuck in my mind though.

'Killing Them Softly' is the worst movie I've seen this year. All the good bits were in the trailer. Was actually falling asleep in the cinema watching it, possibly worst Brad Pitt movie I've seen.

I watched Ichi the Killer last night, was actually good. At first the gore and violence seemed like it was going to be a bit much it turned out to be comical. Had me laughing at various points, and the style is novel enough (to me anyway) to enjoy the film just for that.

So, definitely worth a watch if you can stomach some fake gore. I'll be adding Japanase Gore (someone tell me if it has an accepted name) to my list of suitable genres.

Went to see 'Looper' in the cinema last night. Highly recommend it, lots of twists in the plot and very original. Enjoyed it.

From IMDb;
In 2074, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self.

Anyone seen 'Chopper'?
I think it was Eric Banas' first film. Watched it for the first time a good few years ago and recently got it on DVD.
He plays a real life Australian criminal who ends up as bit of a celebrity.
He has a few books out on sale also.
I really enjoyed the film itself.

Really depends on what your looking for -

If your looking to sit and say 'ooh' 'Ahhh' pretty colors then -One life / born to be wild (breathtaking)

Bit of a splatter horror / comedy then - 'Machete'

Looking for a bit of a grim horror then 'Martyers' or even 'Splinter' (both old titles but well worth a watch if you fancy feeling uncomfortable).

That the one with the psycho lad who fucked his ears? I remember that, must've been pretty interesting because i have a terrible memory, i remember the actor portraying psychotic murderous sociopath really well, you genuinely didnt know if he was gonna flip and go on a rampage. Reminded me of a film i watched a year or so back 'Made in Britain' (1982, just checked) bout a little racist psycho kid who's a giant cunt. Was a shit film made awesome by the fact that its where skinnyman got all his samples from for his album!

^ I only found out about that film because of the Skinnnyman samples haha. I think it's pretty decent, from what I can remember anyway. It's been a while since I watched it.

Aye, he was a comedian before that. Chopper specifically requested that Bana got the role. He plays him well.

I watched this last night. Stoned out my nut. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1870425/

Snoop Dogg & Wiz Kalifa at high school. Brilliant haha. It was utter shite, but I was stoned stupid so I found it quite amusing. It intros with a wee animated dooby who basically says "If you don't have weed turn this film off now, because you'll hate it" =D

Classic. His book is good as well, I think the best selling Aussie author at least at the time anyway. Mad fucking bastard like.

I'm watching Negotiator on Film 4. This was a favourite of mines when I was younger, used to watch this and Forest Gump on video a lot.
