Recommend another good movie per post

Slumdog was the biggest pile of Holywood shite this year. I refuse to let anyone have the opinion that it was good. Your wrong, I'm right. :p :D

Everyone should go see Let The Right One In, bare in mind it's Swedish though so anyone who isn't capable of watching a subtitled film should steer well clear. I repeat (for the first of many times no doubt) that it is fantastic! Best film of the year so far for me. :)

Looks like Bad Boys 2 again for me tonight then. ;)

Actually, the only thing worse than an arthouse wanktastic piece of shite, is an arthouse wanktastic piece of shite about vampires. ;)

Dunno if i've posted this before, but this is a good film...

Running Scared.

Joey Gazelle (Paul Walker) is a low level mob flanker who gets told to dispose of a gun used for killing some dirty cops. Joey however, hides the gun in the drywall of his basement instead of tossing them in the river. When Joey's 10 year-old son (Alex Neuberger) and his best friend, Oleg (Cameron Bright), witness Joey hiding some guns from a botched drug deal, Oleg steals the gun -- a snub-nosed .38 -- and shoots his abusive stepfather (Karel Roden) with it. Things would be bad enough if the stepfather didn't happen to be the nephew of a psychotic Russian mob boss (John Noble)... who happens to be in business with Joey's crew on a gasoline scam. But now Joey's also got the surviving dirty cop (Chazz Palminteri) from the botched drug deal on his case... and that hot .38 out there on the street, changing hands in an underworld of freaks, pimps, hookers and pedophiles. As well as Oleg, who can connect Joey to the gun. And even if Joey can make it through the night, he's still got to answer to his wife (Vera Farmiga)...

This film isn't arthouse. Cracks me up when folk call everything with subtitles or that isn't a Hollywood film 'arthouse'.

It's just a good, solid, Swedish film with a completely unique and special twist on the genre.

Running Scared sounds pish, we haven't all seen a film like that a million times before have we? :p

Somehow I ended up with a terrible film from lovefilm.com the other day, called 'Death Sentence'. Kid you would love it, a badly acted film about gangsters who kill a hot shot businessmans son in an initiation killing and instead of him giving evidence in court he goes after them himself. Had to turn it off after 35 minutes it was so terrible.

Snakes on a Plane is not good. But it is quite unique.

Running Scared is pretty good. I was a bit wrecked when i watched it though. Some of it is fucking nasty though.

Death Sentence sounds like a waste of 35mins of your life. Was either Chuck Norris or Segal in it?

i never turn films off when ive started them even if they're crap, maybe a mini OCD thing though.

Did watch a pretty good film last night though, Sleuth Think im gonna watch the 1972 original though as it looks like it is much better

Depends how bored I am mugabe, if I've literally nothing else to do I will watch it till the end even if not enjoying it.

It was absolutely dire whoremoaning, watch it again sober and tell me you enjoyed it.

Death Sentence was pretty funny, I don't know why anyone would expect anything other than trash from a sequel to Death Wish haha.

death sentence is a film version of the sequel to the book of death wish or something
