BB: Enough guice down the hatch and who knows what could happen? :D;)

Don't threaten me with your love;)Although you do like plugging!Whats your preferred lubricant baby?;)

Well Heart of Glass is a difficult film. The first time I watched it,it did my head right in.But I watched it again about 11 years later, drinking and smoking and thought it was great.
The main thing you have to know is that apart from 1 character everyone else was hypnotised at the time.Once you know that, the fact that everyone is behaving very strangely makes sense.
Stroszeck is great. Not sure about Woyzeck.Keep meaning to watch Grizzly Man.

I'd recommend Lessons In Darkness and Gesualdo: Death For Five Voices as far as Herzog docu's go, off the top of my head. If you've not see them, then do so. If you have, see them again cos they really are that good ;)

The former is just stunningly poignant and beautiful and the latter completely insane and fascinating. Sums up Herzog really :)

PS: Meaning to get around to Grizzly Man too. And that recent Vietnam film he made - looks great and got Christian Bale in it which is often a good sign :)

Aren't they Scouse though? It's a dealbreaker for me - would have to watch with the sound down. Give me some smack-addled, nekkid, annorexic Swedish girl musing incoherently upon the pointlessness of existance and then going on a killing spree anytime :D

My kind of film. :)

Saw this today...

This documentary/drama/animation hybrid stars Pete Postlethwaite as an archivist in the devastated world of the future, asking the question: "Why didn't we stop climate change when we still had the chance?" He looks back on footage of real people around the world in the years leading up to 2015 before runaway climate change took place.

It's a docu-film and it poses some really good questions. Very well done and entertaining too. It's definitely made me think a bit more about how I look at climate change and what I can do to make a small difference.

My local cinema were offering a free £5 gift voucher for filling out a short survey before and after the film too. :)

Post the cover, a trailer and a decription mate it makes this thread better and easier for all of us. :)

Cant from this comp , I keep getting the dreaded " forbidden" crap. I am able to post stuff from my other comp but not this one.I have taken this up with support but I guess the problem lies with the PC.

Its a quality movie though, a clicky on the IMDB link contains all the relevant info, ie plot , trailer etc etc.:)

Surprised its already comeing out on DVD in USA, and I didnt hear of any theatrical release for it in the UK though.

I get the forbidden thing too when I try and use the buttons and have since the upgrade so instead I just type the image tags etc myself.

Danila idolises his older brother, deciding that he wants to follow in his footsteps after being discharged from the Russian army. The problem is his brother is a contract killer for the mob! This doesn't bother Danila, his brother can do nothing wrong in his eyes. Cue some brutal violence, comparable to a Russian version of PULP FICTION. At turns both funny and disturbing, this romp through modern Russian mob-culture is always extremely stylish and compelling.

Really good Russian gangster film, raw and gritty! If you liked Pusher you'll like this.

I'm gonna watch Last Days (Gus Van Sant) tonight, which is meant to be loosely based on the final days of Kurt Cobains life. I've enjoyed most of his fims so far so I've been looking forward to this.

I went to see that at the cinema when it came out with my gf. She was bored to death throughout the entire film. However, I enjoyed it :p.

Kim Gordon makes an appearance doesn't she? She's great :)
